Morning all!
Katy, a point about the arnica cream......it should only be used on unbroken skin, so if you have stitches, it shouldn't be used down there.
However, calendula cream is good for other skin conditions.
It might be good to check whether they can be used near delicate membranes, though!
We were advised to bathe down there in salty water.
Calley, here's the deal...........dust and general untidiness isn't a particular problem, so you're allowed to leave housework like that.
Kitchens and bathrooms could become detrimental to health if they become too dirty, so make a pact with yourself that you'll clean those and keep them clean, and leave the rest, (unless you feel the urge to Hoover or dust, of course!)
Make a list of chunks for the kitchen and bathroom. At the top of each list should be these:
Kitchen.....
Wash up
Bleach sink and drainer
Clean/disinfect worktops
Wipe down fridge shelves
Then.....
Clean hob
Sweep floor
Mop floor
(Add other things)
Etc.
Bathroom...........
Clean loo
Clean washbasin and taps
Clean shower tray
(Add other things)
Then give yourself a target of a certain number of chunks from each list, even if it's only one from each list.
Do that number of chunks each day as your job routine each morning.
Then you can strike through each task as you do it.
Once you've done the number of chunks you've set yourself, you can then do what you like for the rest of the day!
(Or, if you feel energised, do one or two more chunks! * But you don't have to!)
When you get to the bottom of the list, go back to the top!
Have you got a plastic tub or box you can keep in the bathroom, so you can drop your clothes into that and not on the floor? Problem solved!
* NB If you do do more than your allotted number of chunks, don't be tempted to say to yourself "I did more chunks yesterday, so I shan't do any today"! Doing more if you feel like it, is a bonus, not a get-out clause for the next day, as the whole point is to have a daily routine. Otherwise you could slip back into the habit of only doing the occasional rare blitz and then leaving it all to mount up again.(I just lurve spiders!)

Could you write it all down as a letter and give that to him?(I just lurve spiders!)

There will be no stitches Pyxis, the power of being in denial!
I agree MR3, a letter may help, and leave him alone to read it and digest it before he responds. Maybe he needs it explaining that it is help you need, that you aren't criticising him, that you are asking for help but because you are struggling it comes across the wing way.
Right, my brother had a dream last night that escapee made her break for it today. I've actually had a couple of contractions this morning (which have stopped again!) but I am determined. He also dreamt one of my friend had her baby today, and she woke up with regular contractions!
Any suggestions?
Got a long walk planned, getting started on the fruit and pineapple (no prunes Pyxis but strawberries have a similar effect on me!), walking up and down the stairs like a crab.
Midwife suggested a bit of t'other, but I think the state of me downstairs would give hubby nightmares!0 -
May be some scientific theory to the midwife's suggestion:

In an emergency, I've used shampoo as shower gel and vice versa. One extreme time, I even used washing-up liquid as a shampoo and shower gel! (Screwed my eyes up tight so as not to get any in my eyes!)
Hand soap would do, too. As would wet wipes! (Though not as a shampoo!)
This reminds me of a childhood story (which sounds like something out of Monty Python!)
We often used to have our hair washed with Fairy liquid when mum was feeling broke. This one time (Americanism!) my mother complained because no matter WHAT she did, the liquid wouldn't foam and felt greasy to the touch. Guess whose father had stored motor oil in a Fairy bottle and left it in the bathroom........ It tooks weeks to get it out of my hair
Ooops - missed the last page when I was posting this! Fingers crossed for escapee! xEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
I am up but not dressed. Not sure there is any point.
If I don't do stuff the world is not going to end. And the only person who gets stressed is me.
I just want all the pain, heartache and hurt to go away. And if I don't like myself who hell will. I just see endless years of being on my own with no one to share good and bad times with.
The person I want to be with who knows. Claims he likes me but I am mental and did at one stage want a relationship with me. well could have told me instead of keep running away.
Its a lovely sunny day and I have all the curtains closed. And will get to spend it all on my own. Wish I had not woken up this morning.
Yours

Yes, that can work. I reckon it's like there's a knock at the door, so escapee has to come and see who it is! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I thought this bit was very funny! :rotfl:
"Your partner.......................can rest assured that your baby will not know what is happening and will not be harmed."
I've heard of precocious babies, but that's ridiculous! :rotfl:
A bit like that baby in Family Guy..........."OMG is that my mom and dad doing ........It? gee, gross!"(I just lurve spiders!)

Calley, will you do something for me?
Look, I'm a bit down today too. I have to practice some AdDram; it's a song, and I've been putting off doing it, but I need to for tomorrow.
I'll do a deal with you. I'll run through the song once if you'll do this......
Have you cleaned your teeth this morning? If not, would you clean your teeth and then give the washbasin a clean, not just with water, but with your bathroom cleaner. Then when it's gleaming, if you want to, you can go back to bed.
I need an incentive to go through this song as I always think I'm going to forget the words or notes, so don't want to, which is silly, because the more I sing it, the less likely I am to forget it!
Is it a deal?(I just lurve spiders!)
