My laundry basket is in my bedroom not in my bathroom. So if I strip off to have a shower I leave it all on the bathroom floor.

My laundry basket is in the bedroom too. I just pick up my clothes when I pick up the towels. Our bathroom is only small though, so it would do my head in to have towels and clothes lying around.

Pyxis's idea of breaking things down bit by bit is a good one. That's the way I find it easiest. Like for instance when I'm waiting for the kettle to boil I'll put the dishes away, wipe down tops, put rubbish out etc. Little bits, little and often.

  • Hugs (((code))) I'm sure you didn't blend into the scenery, your dress was gorgeous. :) I know the feeling though, sometimes you feel like you just don't want to be at certain events, and it's an effort to make small talk. we stayed longer than I thought we would at the wedding last week, but I couldn't wait to get home. Luckily we were on a table with BIL and SIL, MIL, and Aunty Molly (who's deaf and very quiet) and two people we didn't know but were nice. So chat was relatively easy, although we hadn't seen them for years, so it was abit strained. I'd have hated to have been on a table with people we didn't know and would have felt the same as you.

Not sure Pyxis is going to be too happy. As now watered all the pots, put the washing out. Opened up my solar lamps and out them out for charge. But seem to be missing a spike to go in to the ground for one :( not sure what can do about that as they were bought on clearance as they are summer stock!! Might e-mail the company and have a moan LOL!!!!

And removed between 20-30 bricks from my raised bed. Had to be careful because of my back. So little and often and it means bending over. I expect the sun went in for a while when I did that :rotfl:

Thanks for comparing me to Josef Mengele :rotfl: as he held the rank of Hauptstürmführer

I will admit my ignorance and had to look it up.

:rotfl: Well I didn't mean to compare you with Mengele! I'm sure there were other much nicer Hauptstürmführers! :D

This is one song that always cheers me up. It's so jolly!

Code, well done on sticking it out; I know how much you were dreading it. Bet you looked great, though! :)

Good afternoon all! First let me apologise, I have read every post but I can't reply individually because my brain is still too scrambled from the episode. I have read everything and cheered everyone on, I feel terribly guilty but I just can't retain information for long enough to reply properly right now.

I can't get the images I saw out of my head, I dreamt about it again last night. It is my fault because when I feel stable I become complacent and think that I can do more 'ordinary' things, then I realise that I can't when it is too late. One thing I need to remember about my mental health is that I cannot let my guard down, I need to monitor myself and what I do closely to maintain stability. It's why I have no treatment as such to try to make things better, the balance is so fine that it takes very little to push me into relapse and specific triggers such as innocent deaths are very bad for me. I will be fine, it will just take a few more days but for now I am terribly sad, hurting for everyone fighting for their lives against the odds no matter what the circumstances and desperately wishing that I could make it better. I am so sorry.
