WaS - you are fighting to get better. Look what you've achieved! You've been on outings, you've been on holiday. You've made such an effort and come so far. You, lady, are awesome.

As for the news item- I think you'd have to be very hard of heart to not be affected by it. You feel it more than others because that is who you are, and that's OK.

I have done absolutely nothing today. Apart from an afternoon nap. Must get out of that habit too.

Absolutely not. I'm a great advocate of naps. I'd have one every day if I could.

    These dudes agree with me.

It's Sunday. Day of rest, and all that. If you can't have a lazy day in a Sunday, when can you?

That's true. I do try to get out most days if I can.

WaS, you do contribute silly! It may be a virtual duvet fort, but it is still a duvet fort that helps a lot of people. If you were out there creating a real life duvet fort you wouldn't fit half as many people in to help, and all the cake would have calories!! Well, what cake was left after the fort furries got hold of it.
You can't measure your worth on what you physically do, otherwise a lot of people would lose out. Measure it instead on your intentions, your ethics, your support of others, your intelligence etc.

Way to go Calley! How are you feeling now? You sound a lot more positive. If you have a printer is it worth printing out your last few posts on here and keeping them safe? Then when you feel rubbish again you can refer back to it to prove to yourself that you CAN do it and feel good about yourself! Oh, and to remind yourself that cleaning the bathroom is preferable to a bum-kicking from Pyxis!!

Ice cream and chocolate sound like a good idea, Dragonette. I am sure your metamour cares a lot about you and was happy to be there for you, sometimes when we are having a bad time it can help us feel better to be there for someone else so it likely would have helped her, too.

Thank you for being so kind to me too. Even here, I feel like everyone fights so hard to feel better and improve things for themselves and I sit here doing what? Living each day like the last, dependent on society to support me and giving nothing back. What on earth is the point of me? I am so, so lucky to live how I do, I have done nothing to deserve it. So many people are so much pain in all different walks of life and struggling to get by and yet here I sit like a huge drain on everyone. Even in this post, all I am talking about is me, me, me. Others don't even have the chance to think that way because every day is fight for so many different reasons. Be it in war zones or struggling with day to day life, so many people have so much to cope with, things I can only imagine. Also, please don't take this too seriously, I am not very well right now but I will be fine again. My problems are minuscule compared to others.

I deeply admire and care for everyone on this thread, you are all an inspiration to me. I am in awe of how you all keep trying no matter how bad things get. I can only wish to be as strong as all of you are, I think the world of everyone here and you have all become my family.
Giving nothing back? Well personally WaS you've given me friendship, kindness, warmth, love and i think that's actually quite a lot. And that's just me! Times that by all the people just on this thread that you've helped, and then add in all the help you have done for others and i hope you'll see you've certainly not given nothing!

No news yet Indie. Exhausted my list of things to try today and baby is still refusing to budge. Bearded one thinks I need to relax more as I am just making baby stubborn by being impatient and I think he may be right.
