Katy - Have you tried a curry??

    {squishes} to all
  • Groans, still feel like carp. I know it'll pass, but it's miserable atm. I've retreated to bed with crochet and the warm light, had some more good in case it's low blood sugar. Isn't helping so far. Ugh.

Feeling carp makes me grumpy. Will grump away at my crochet!

  • Had curry the other night so tried chilli this evening. Gave escapee hiccups but that's it.
I'm reluctant to try the spicy food too often because if it does work then some poor midwife is likely going to have to deal with the after effects!

I keep meaning to learn how to crochet Dragonette. I'd it easy? I can do basic knitting but nothing fancy and I get bored easily

I find crochet much easier personally, a hook in one hand and the wool in the other rather than a needle in each hand and trying to control the wool somehow.

There's lots of videos on YouTube if you're interested in learning. I find it grows quicker than knitting - but that might be a reflection on my knitting! I'm making a big chunky blanket for friends atm, need to have brainless projects atm :( since I can't concentrate enough to make complex things

Eta: I use several colours at once and do easy patterns that way rather than complex shapes etc :) Even the cheapest acrylic yarn can be made into a lush blanket by using 2 or 3 balls at once, as a really chunky yarn

Saw a elephant moth caterpillar in my husbands garden this evening. had to look it up to know what it was.

    Look here

Husband reckons it was ugly. I think it is beautiful.
