Thank you all for your kind words. DA is going to the inlaws where he will be spoilt rotten but I always cry. So far I've cried 5 times and we still need to take his food and other things we forgot back.

Dragonette, could you do something like yoga? Not like a mega hard class but gentle yoga? You wouldn't lose weight but you'd tone a bit and it has many health benefits. My mum had ME and she used to do a weekly yoga class and she found it helpful.

  • Ooh I'd love to do yoga. I can't get out to a class (not with any reliability anyway) - but I'm sure I could find stuff online :) thank you, that's a fantastic idea!

  • You'd think I'd be able to read my energy levels by now. Almost couldn't step out of the shower *grrrr*

laundry can just stay on the line - not doing steps today. No wonder I'm putting on weight with this weakness

I'm in a bit of a flap, the results of the latest mystery shopper report come in tomorrow and apparently it's really really bad (we usually come top 3, we are 66th in the area this time!) it gives a description of who served the person and im in a panic that it could have been me and if it is what a huge bollocking I will get :( I mean I don't think its me cos of what my manager said we scored low on, as im just bright and cheery when greeting people but still have an overwhelming feeling of dread :o

Aww, try not to worry MU. I highly doubt it's you. And if it is, it's not the end of the world. Come into the fort, we'll give you cake and hot chocolate (with extra cream and marshmallows!) and send you back on your way with a big smile on your face! :)

Hope you're feeling better soon Dragonette. Can you eat eggs? My latest magic food is little 'egg muffins' for breakfast and lunch. Basically just 4 eggs, bit of seasoning, bit of filling (cheese, chicken, ham...whatever I've got!) put into a 6 muffin tray and baked for 20 minutes. Low calorie, high protein and filling so I don't feel like snacking too much between meals! :)

  • I'm sure it won't be you MU, more than likely that girl you mentioned who sounds totally useless!

I used to hate mystery shoppers. You could always tell them a mile of though, just by the way they kept on looking at your name badge, asking over the top questions etc. I remember once I didn't have my name badge on, but as I was the only young (well young compare to the rest of the women!) lass with long red hair and glasses, it was obvious it was me....darn it!

Birdie, that's a really good idea, would never have thought of that, I'm gonna try it!

Dragonette, sorry to hear you're struggling with energy levels atm. :(

Mu I am sure it was not you. But do understand why you might be feeling uncomfortable about it.

Oh why oh why oh why do trades people say they are going to do a job and not turn up.

Had to chase the gutter guy. Was suppose to here between 2.30-3.00pm last job of the day. Still not here!

I stayed in because I don't like the idea of leaving my gates unbolted.

I did buy a cheap padlock for the shed as I have my bike in there.

Not had a phone call. Well I won't be recommending him to anyone else. back to the drawing board.

I just had a feeling when husband pushed him for a day on friday that he was not going to turn up. And I was right. I would have carried on glossing if I had know that he was not turning up.

    Yours

    Calley

MessedUp, from what you've told me about a couple of the others, standing around not serving, not being able to work out the money etc., it's much more likely to be one of them! :A

  • Aw, hugs, code. DA dog will be just fine. You can have huge cuddles when you get back.

I am sure it isn't you, MU. As Georgie said it is likely to be the woman who isn't very good at her job. Try not to worry, have a hug my friend.

    Ugh! How annoying Calley!

Things that are making me feel better-

The ISIS Chan girl Whitewing linked to. I Googled her picture and she is adorable with her melon!

The fact that an Egyptian billionaire has offered to buy an island and house and give work to any refugees who can get there. Granted it is nowhere near as simple as that but I absolutely love the gesture. What a kind man.

I have sorted out a box of things for the charity shop as Pyxis suggested. It is a small gesture but at least I am doing something.

The fact that my american friend sat up with me until 6am today until WaSp got up while we played a silly computer game together so that I didn't have time to think. She had commitments but cancelled them to stay with me so that I wasn't alone.

That my stomach is so much better! Almost back to normal now. I still can't eat anything spicy without getting hiccups but things are much improved.

That you all left me such lovely messages yesterday and you are all still here today. I can rely on everyone here to be going about your normal lives and checking in, you are all like a fluffy security blanket. It means the world to me.
