Indie, I wonder if there's a bug going around. MIL had a headache and then I had one too. I thought it was maybe cause of the crying but then I wondered if maybe it was why I was crying quite so much. Ended up taking cocodamol and going to bed for a couple of hours.
Supposed to be packing. I have no idea what to take. I have one dressy thing which doesn't seem like enough.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Trying not to get too excited, but I had contact about my iapt referral.
They have agreed to put me forward for counselling if my assessment says it is suitable, which is the first time in years they have not insisted on CBT or nothing. I agreed to give CBT another go with a different worker too.
Just a bit concerned as I don't usually end up staying with iapt due to various issues, but when I get referred on they tend not to keep me long enough for counselling as my issues are not serious enough to keep me open long enough to get down the waiting list.
Sooo, do I be totally honest and risk getting lost between services again if I'm deemed too complex/not complex enough, or edit what I say in assessment so I stay with iapt and have a better chance at counselling?0 -
Well I found out who it is, it's not me to to my absolute shock found out it was a manager  which doesn't bode well as I also found out the next one is going to be coming on an evening so there's every chance I could serve them and if my manager can't get 100% how the hell am I going to?!
Ah well I am brushing up on my knowledge (they always ask a knowledge based question and we are launching new sarnies tomorrow so I reckon that will be the question) and just have to remember to link sell and stuff. All I can do is try my best and treat every customer with suspicion:rotfl:

Good luck. I have given up on-line dating. I have used POF in the past.
No matter what site I am on I seem to attract messers, wasters, men with partners and ones that are only interested in having sex with me.
I had to block and call one out the other day on a site. I make it very clear on my profile I am just there to chat. He got really shirty with me. I said glad you read my profile!!!
I have personally give up on the idea of another relationship. Maybe not for ever but for the time being.

Calleythough I've learnt moving too quickly cos you want to be with someone is actually worse than being on your own as I found with the ex).
Some time will be the right time, but don't worry if that isn't now. Do things as and when you feel ready

MU,
Managers are sometimes promoted up out of the way of normal customers who they can wind up wrongly, lol.
I do more of an organisational/managerial role. There are better people for doing the customer service. (That said, I can do my best to serve how I would like to be treated!)
This is my longwinded way of saying that if you do your best you will be fine, regardless of whatever your manager got!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

My only contact with IAPT was an assessment that deemed me too complex for them to deal with, and after that my psych didn't think I was mentally well enough to cope with it. Then I sort of fell through the cracks.
Once I have a new GP I may look into it again.
Hopefully someone else will come along who have more experience with it and can offer you advice. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Your new GP may have some other ideas or ways of approaching things MU.
It's difficult with the tiered system as it is easy to not meet criteria for either tier, or you end up being moved between tiers depending on your current state which can be both helpful and detrimental.
I haven't helped myself in the past by dropping out of services, but that is mainly due to frustration of not feeling I'm getting the right support. I do still feel guilty for wasting peoples time though0 -

Calley,
I'm hoping you find someone nice on POF or any of the other sites you're on. You're lovely and deserve to be treated right!
But I can see what you mean.. I've been on there for 1 day and I've already had messages asking me if I want a good seeing to! Why do men think that is acceptable to say to a woman?!
Thanks all for your good lucks! It's probably just a rebound but worth a go!
