  • Things my memory cause- I was just saying to WaSp that I want to try different foods for when we have an online delivery because I am bored with what we eat. I told him I can't do that though because I can't remember what food they have. Poor WaSp looked confused and said why don't you just look at the different products on the site when you actually order it?

Oh yeah, I forgot I could do that. For some reason I was convinced that I had to remember everything in the shop despite the fact that I would be visiting the online store to order anyway and it would be right there in front of me. It is little things like that are obvious to everyone else that drive me mad. My comprehension of how to do something just disappears despite having done it loads of times before...

Hmm walking Little Sod didn't work. He was surprisingly well behaved for once!

If you started to do the online food shop, would you remember then that you can look up items? I do things like that at times, call them my brain farts!

Is it weird to write someone a letter that I haven't seen in a while? I just found some envelopes and stamps and my address book. Not sure what I would write about, but I love getting post!

No, it isn't weird. (But I can't remember the last time that I got an unbirthday letter). I think it is a great idea.

We just put a homemade birthday card in the post for a post-centurian. We made it on a whim yesterday and had a great time. It looked brilliant, if I say so myself. I did have to laugh at littlewing, who is a mini-hoarder. I said, do you want to make a card for Auntie X and she said, no. So I said why not? She said, because I won't want to give it to her when we've made it! (I swear that hoarding is genetic).
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

Whitewing, I have that problem too! I have stacks of beautiful craft paper and card that I can't bear to cut up, and even if I do get brave and cut it up, I can't bear to give away the results! :o It's partly why I got into scrapbooking, I could keep what I made! :p

When I give homemade cards to family, I ask for them back when they take them all down!

Katy, I don't think sending a letter would be weird, it'd be lovely! I love getting letters; can't remember the last time I received one, will be a good 10 years or so, my friend and I used to write to each other but stopped a long time ago.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
