    I'm in a clique! It's a clique of one! It's a unique clique!
    I love

  • Hahahahaha! Thank you Melly. WaSp used to buy the most sickly Hallmark cards he could find for Milliefleur because he didn't know what else to buy and he could get away with just signing them. I took over and introduced him to the idea of writing his own message.

It sounds like work is going well! It is about time that something was on your side! It is lovely to hear!

Hahahahaha! That's my personal portrait, Pyxis!

MR3, what do you mean, it's too early for cake?????

    :) :):huh :):huh

Code, the bruise is getting bigger and bigger and darker and darker! It now covers the entire top half of the rear of my thigh!
The haematoma in the middle is still painful if I sit or lie on it.

I am fed up. Work is so busy and I have no idea what I'm doing. Been attempting something for days and it's not worked so asked on a technical forum and was made to feel like an idiot.
Some people can't reply to technical questions without getting all smug and condescending, unfortunately. I tend to assume there must be so much missing from their lives that their only joy is being mean to others. I've had over 20 years of biting my tongue doing technical support for the software I write :o so I'm quite experienced at always being polite and helpful, even when another 'programmer' (we sell SDKs which export an API, so our products are only of use to programmers) says to me after I tell him to copy a file "I don't know what a file is" (yes, that really happened ).

Unless your problem is with 'C', x86 or x64 assembly language or linux system configuration (I also maintain our servers for my sins) I probably won't be able to help you though!

Sounds nasty, I'm always covered in them cos I'm so clumsy. Latest is one on my thigh as I walked into a chair in doctors waiting room, ironcLly same leg I was having jab in my bum cheek. Same day I hit back of my head on beam in daughters loft room making her bed...she will have to learn to do that herself soon

Eeeeeeeeep! That sounds horrendous, Pyxis! Is your toe any better? Knee?

Ooooh, you maybe shouldn't have said that, Ono. Wasp is trained in Windows Systems but is branching out into programming Linux. He currently has Linux Unbuntu on his computer and Linux Mint on a laptop. He is trying to persuade me to install it on my laptop but I am clinging to Windows because I am a big scaredy cat! I now know who to ask on his behalf if he gets stuck! My contribution so far has been putting Linux penguin desktop pics on both...

Code, honestly, some people are just horrible. I had a kid shout "run, fat girl" at me on my run last night :( They're always so brave when you can't get to them! Hope you feel lots better soon *hugs*

I am insufferable today as I'm off LARPing tomorrow and very excited!!

  • I looked up images of LARPing after hearing about it from you, HBS and it looks tremendous fun! I love the costumes!
