It was very difficult for my friend, MU not because she had problems but because everyone else did with her and just didn't understand her. My other friends were very uncomfortable around her and couldn't put their finger onto why. That would be because she was faking everything! A lot thought she wasn't very nice but she was neither nice, or nasty. She was just totally neutral most of the time unless she had a good reason not to be.
Being someone who is at times over emotional, having no emotions would be a strange feeling for me, i suppose for your friend she was always like that, though like you said sometimes she would have liked to experience them. I know there's been times i wished i didn;t have emotions but after reading about your friend, in some ways i feel lucky i do experience them, even if they can be extreme at sometimes. Emotions are such a huge part of life aren't they?Yes, honey is anti-inflammatory. It's also antibacterial .
Don't worry! It's only beer!
Good foodHope you feel a bit better tomorrow
I'm not sure how you use the honey, MU. I don't think she ever told me.
She did tell me that to keep ants out of your house you have to draw a blue chalk line around it.
Also you shouldn't keep shoes under the stairs as goblins get in them.
And eating whole beetroots stops you being constipated. They have to be whole though, not sliced.
Sorry katy but i may have giggled about the goblins:rotfl: Grandparents do have some wonderful remedies don't they? I'm actually quite superstisious and most of it i picked up from my nan. For example if i see a magpie i have to salute in and ask how its children are??!
something my nan did!

Goblins in shoes!
Well, I think goblins are much misunderstood.
If they want to have a kip in a shoe, why not?
I've had worse happen to a shoe by one of my dogs!
Just as long as they vacate it before I stick my foot in it!
Actually, beetroot Is good for constipation, as it has a lot of fibre in it.!
And the red colour is packed with anti-oxidants!(I just lurve spiders!)

I am very emotional and would be lost without them. However, I did experience two years of very few. Schizophrenia can either be active which means you have active psychosis, neutral which is when you are on the right medication and things are relatively stable or negative. Negative means most of the psychotic symptoms stop but you feel nothing, it is like the catatonia reaches your emotions and everything shuts down. You have no excitement, no sadness, no happiness, very little emotion. All I had were momentary bursts of vicious anger which would quickly pass and I had no idea why I felt like that in the first place. Everything is otherwise completely flat in the negative stage. I remember thinking that I wasn't bothered whether I died or not because it meant nothing to me either way. I didn't even feel love for WaSp, he was just someone who was in the same house. I didn't feel anything about anyone or any thing.
I found it very hard to cope with and so did WaSp, it was like living with a shell of a person for him. It was a long two years and I was very grateful when it became active again. I'll take hallucinations over that anytime. But it did give me some insight into how my friend approached life which helped us both.

I was an elf too! I always wanted to be a pixie though, they had more fun.
Don't you go letting your goblins loose in the fort WaS, they might steal all the biscuits!0 -

I have at times, felt numb. I felt nothing. No sadness. Not happiness. No anger. No excitement. Just nothing. It was horrible and as you said, like you were a sehll of yourself.

Hahahahaha! You mean I can't bring my cuddly Gremlin with me?
Aww, adorable gnomes, MU and I used to do the same. Even that didn't appeal in the negative stage though, it was as pointless as everything else felt.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

For me WaS it's less unemotional and more I genuinely do not care what you think I can appear to care (been told I'm very empathetic) that's used to gain control/own way and I have to work at not doing it.
The only time I've been really puzzled was the situation with R (girl mentioned previously) to me we didn't like each other so why does everyone have an issue with me just not speaking to her? And why does she keep trying to speak to me?0 -
MessedUp, that makes perfect sense. When you feel nothing, sometimes drastic measures are needs just to FEEL! :A(I just lurve spiders!)
