Arghhhhhhhh - today not going to plan - so much to do and so little sleep and annoying leaking roof/boiler plumbing problem and have to find someone to come and fix and don't trust anyone and will cost a fortune.

I was a brownie too and a pixie - obviously Iam old as I had the brown dress and bobble hat and yellow toggle. But I got thrown out after going to the fancy dress party as a witch on a hoover ( as the adults said that was silly etc and big row/strop ensued.) I joined venture scouts instead and had a whale of a time, learnt many great (and some questionable skills) and they are still - 30 years on - my closest group of mates and I married one of them! My favourite picture from our wedding is the one with us and all the scouts - which is all our closest friends. So I vote venture scouts for all.

Had some nail glue in my desk at work so that's solved one problem at least.

I am making dumbassery an art form today.

Yuck, uncomfortable and feel like my brain is turning to mush. There's lots of things I want to be doing in the garden but am a bit big now to be doing much so am watching rubbish TV and knitting.
Think I might need to Google some free online courses to do

    Thank you :)
I might do something completely different to anything I have done before!
  • Free online courses sound interesting to me too, I'll have a little look at those sites :)

I have made contact with with one of my others - the big dragon isn't interested but the little fire lizard is happy to interact. She is very little and doesn't have words (which seems to be why I can still write as myself when I can't speak, the worrying is left to me while the other things are lizard's). I'm aware of how odd these others sound but both dragon and fire lizard have wings so it's very strongly a way of feeling I can escape.

All this is making my head quite sleepy, but it feels a bit more peaceful. I would never have tried this without this thread. Thank you so much to everyone who posts here for creating and maintaining an open, safe space :)

Aww, it's been a good couple of days - would it make some of you smile if I told about them?

Or shall I keep schtum and just give hugs? :)
