Re weight 'gain', do remember that every time you eat a meal or drink a drink of any sort, your weight will go up temporarily, as your body now contains extra stuff.
That's why it's best to weigh yourself at the same time every day.
Early morning is best, before eating or drinking anything and after going to the loo.
If on two days running you have large meals, all that stuff is still in transit in your gut. So of course you will weigh more than if you had two days of very light meals. It doesn't mean that it has all translated into fat.(I just lurve spiders!)

I do weigh myself in the morning sort of the same time but before I eat and drink and after a wee or poo.

Not sure what to say Melly.
Keep pushing if you have strength.
I hope that you have eaten and drunk something in the last couple of days?

Really interesting stuff about your sociopath friend WaS. I have noticed that I have tendencies to be like that at times. I've never been overly emotional and find it hard to understand why people cry at the drop of a hat, or scream like a big girl's blouse at things like don't even bother me, or get so cross they have to punch something etc. Quite often I just go 'somewhere else' and switch off when in unpleasant situations. It took me ages to bond properly with DS because I didn't get that whole rush of love thing that you're supposed to get. It took weeks.
We're best buds now but when he's hard work I still go off to that other place and turn off...
Glad your car wasn't too expensive to get through the MOT Calley. Mine cost £560 last month!
Oh and I used to be a Brownie too! When I was there we were transitioning from the old brown uniforms to the new ones, so a lot of the girls had the brown dresses but I had some really cool brown culottes and a yellow t-shirt and jumper! I was a Pixie too!
Code - I wear false nails too for the same reason and always carry nail glue and a couple of spare nails from the pack in my bag just in case! Last year I bought a UV lamp and gel nail varnishes so I could do 'Shellac' nails at home but my natural nails have been too short to do this for monthsso I recently ordered nail tips; I'm just waiting for my current false nails to come off so I can have an attempt at doing my nails at home.

OMG. If mine was going to cost that much would scrap it and get something else.
As it cost me £1500 two years ago and really is not worth more than £500 now.
For car costs I don't count, tyres, brakes etc in the cost as they are consumables.

A friend said the same a few years ago. The engine went (I think) and cost £1000 to repair. The car was worth £2000 and wasn't worth repairing. Unfortuantely for me, (he picks me up most weeks) he then goes and gets some stupidly popular car and it took me over a year to actually work out what colour it really was. Yup, I'm colourblind! Thankfully, his number plate is easy to remember.
Le sigh. I've now had to finally give in and ask my parents for help. Or will do when I'm around theirs on Sunday. I'm sure I'm not actually cooking some of my food properly and I'd rather not get social services involved.:(Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
