I started going grey in my teens due to hypothyroidism...thankfully it's all grown in two big streaks like Rogue from X-Men!

I let the side down a bit yesterday too - ate some leftovers before cheer practise and felt HORRIBLY sick after it - so much pain too! So I couldn't do my zombie run :(

Going to catch up today as I feel lots better though.

    HBS x

HBS - that's all kinds of awesome. I love the streaky look. Half-HBS, half- badger!!

My body offset my wobble yesterday. I made dinner, sat down to eat it, got less than a quarter into it, and started boaking at every mouthful. That suggests my cooking is bad but it wasn't. It was delicious. I just couldn't eat it. That's never happened before!

Argh, what a nightmare about your hair Gingernutty! Maybe going over it with a semi permanent won't be the worst thing? A couple of years ago I gave the ombre look a go, I have naturally dark brown hair so my friend and I gave the L'oreal ombre kit a go and the ends went orange! Was not the best look. So we decided to get a blonde dye and give that a go... it went yellow! It was horrendous! :rotfl: I ended up paying a salon £60 to chop off the poor damaged ends and dye the whole lot back to dark brown! I've only just been brave enough to dye my hair again (as I'm getting greyer by the day :() although I've only done semi-permanents so far! I did it the other night with this colour and it's taking a little getting used to! :)

As for the grey hairs, WaS, I'm so jealous that you've only had 2! I noticed my first when I was 20!!! My parents both have fabulous heads of hair, my Dad has enough hair for 2 men, and I've inherited that; sadly I've also inherited their 'totally grey by 40' genes and am well on my way! It wouldn't be so bad if my hair wasn't so dark to begin with. DH is blonde and you can't see his greys as they just look like lighter blonde hairs!

Oh and I'm wearing earrings today that had the plastic bits on the back... and just popped them off! Totally mindblowing! :rotfl:

Oooh, how odd, code! You haven't got a virus, have you? Or is your body just determined that it is going to wear that dress no matter what it needs to do?

I have a lot of hair too, birdie. It is fine hair, hence frizzes all of the time but there is tons of it. Lots more to go grey! WaSp Hardly looks grey at all from a distance due to his natural colour.

I just did another check, no grey hair to be seen but I know they will creep on me when I am not looking!

EDIT: Code, I feel your pain except I'd kill for a bit of height - my LARP nickname is Battlecube! I'm short and robust, haha!

    HBS x

Height is overrated. If I wear heels, I bump my head off low ceilings, buying trousers is a trial and upon entering any supermarket, I am asked by old ladies to get stuff off the top shelves for them. Oh and people consistently ask how the weather is up here. I did once date a guy who was 6'7". Once in a supermarket a kid came into the aisle we were standing on, stopped still and shouted 'Look mum, it's a giant and his wife!'

    That colour is amazing Birdie!!

I need to do my roots today. Starting to look like I have bald patches at my temples (I don't - it's just that my hair is dyed dark brown and the regrowth is white so it looks odd). My dad had jet black hair and my mum had auburn hair. When I was born, my dad came home from the hospital and told everyone I had pure white hair and everyone thought I was an albino. Sadly, by the time I started school it was mousey brown.

I don't know what was going on WaS. It's not like my body to refuse food. Maybe it was the painkillers.

Hahahahahaha! Sorry to laugh code, but that is hilarious. I am medium height so no real worries there, I am naturally broad though with very wide shoulders. Kind of triangular down to my waist.

I did dye my hair white for a while as a goth and loved it. I think white streaks in hair look gorgeous.

I'm happily average height and don't really want to be any taller or shorter! My DH is only 5'9 so if I wear very high heels I run the risk of being taller than him! :o

That's hilarious about the kid shouting about the giants! :rotfl:

The colour is nice Code, just a big change for me as I've only ever been brown with a hint of brown! :p I could never go light as my hair grows so quickly I'd have dark roots showing within a week and I hate the look of dark roots on blonde hair!
