  • Aw, hugs Pyxis. I hope you at least enjoyed the drink and snacks?

Good news and bad news here. The internet fault is now fixed in our area but since it has come back online the internet company cannot pick up a signal from our router which means it has likely been broken by the initial problem. We have an engineer coming out on Saturday (I shall be hiding under the duvet) armed with a new router. This will equal 5 days without any service by the time he arrives which isn't good.

Well of course, yes I did enjoy it, but as usual feeling annoyed with myself now!

Although, I suppose it wouldn't be a huge amount over the 500 calories.
Not very nutritious though, but then I did have a gallon of vegetables and fruit yesterday! I must have had 10 a day, not five! :D

    Well done Pyxis :T

I've been bad too. Didn't have any crisps in (as we're cutting down) and usually if they're not in then I'll be like 'well I can't have any', but just before I was like 'I need something savoury', we'd ran out of nuts, so we went down to Spar and got some crisps, beef hula hoops!

There must be something in the air....yes, that's what it is, it's not our fault! :rotfl:

Right decided to have a massive de-clutter and get rid of stuff.

All my agatha christie and colin dexter books off the charity shop tomorrow. Most of them have been in a cupboard for years.

As well as other books. I don't read half of them so off they have to go. Will start going through other stuff as well.

But I will not be getting rid of the dragons LOL!!!!

    Hello!

Some of you may remember me briefly mentioning (I can't quite remember what I said now!) something about my couusins' baby. They suspected he had a heart mumur. He actually had a hole in his heart. Because he has chronic lung disease, it seems that two conditions appear to "mask" issues related to both conditions. This is why it took them some months to work out what was going on and thinking his problems were his lungs.

Baby had his operation at the end of July. He was in surgery for some 4.5 hours. He was covered in tubes for some 3 days. He's so much better now and just had his oxygen tubes in. (he's on oxygen 24/7)

As for me - the last few months have been rather meh. I've had a lot of health issues and blood and urine came back normal. I then asked to change back to the medication I was on in December because I thought that was the problem.

I went away in June with a friend and had a lot of problems there, despite his best efforts. Sadly, (in part, it's because of his own health issues) I don't think I'll be returning next year.

Whatever it is, Gitdog's got it as well. One of tonight's tasks was to walk round the trainer who was waving a bag of crisps in his direction. Yeah, right.
He also steam rollered one of the much smaller dogs whilst theoretically following me to heel as I walked in the other direction. Then sat and complained that no one would play with him. Our silver award is receding by the week.

Calley, when I was de cluttering my dragon collection I kept the ones I really liked and rehomed some of the ones I'd been given which weren't really me. Somewhere amongst the piles of stuff is a dragon stencil I put safe till I was ready to use it.......could be anywhere now.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I only have 3 and they are staying :rotfl:

I have even taken to wearing my engagement ring again. But on my left hand. I don't wear a lot of jewellery anyway. Is that strange? who knows.

Decided for some strange unknown reason to dip my top back in the dating pool. Going to go back on to POF.com and see what is about.

Wish me all a good nights sleep as I at getting to the end of my tether with it all.

everyone take care and catch up with you soon.

    Night.

Calley! I just love Agatha Christie! I have all her books! Am currently watching the repeats of The Agatha Christie Hour, first broadcast in the 80s. Each episode is one of her short stories!
There are some very famous names doing the acting!

My all time favourite is Joan Hickson as Miss Marple.
(Can't stand the more recent "Marple" series, though!)

Indiekid! Long time no see! Welcome back, and thanks for updating us. :A
Glad baby is so much better. I bet that was a worrying time.
Sorry you're not so good though. :(

Actually, I'd keep it. It could be valuable one day!
If it's any consolation, I grew up with that nursery rhyme, and didn't relate it at all to what people relate it to now. I'm not saying it's right, just that at the time it was written, it really didn't mean much. And certainly didn't influence my mindset, or that of anyone else I knew then.
