Sounds like our wedding. I got confetti (actually rose petals) right down my cleavage, which was fun - and then when we finally made it to bed (no funny stuff cos we were both exhausted!) I found rose petals in my knickers!!! (Although of course it could have been a stray fart cos of course that is what mine smell of.)
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

I finally worked out why am feeling the way I do today.

I am lonely today. As most people today have had friends, family, partners etc to spend the day with. And I have spent the day alone again.

Anyway here is a photo of the finished sideboard with stuff on it.

Lovely sideboard, Calley! Well done! :)

You know, it probably isn't most people.

I have been on my own all day!

Mind you, I interacted with peops at the shopping centre I was in all morning and part of afternoon.
Then being on here and chatting, it hasn't felt like being alone! :D

That looks good Calley - a proper sturdy one that won't fall apart in 5 minutes.
I've also had the day on my own (apart from Gitdog who's had his annoying head on). I didn't mind today, but sometimes I feel like I'm missing out as well. Always helps when the sun is out. I have joined a gardening club which has its second meeting tomorrow - found it on street life, if you've heard of that? Not sure it'll be my sort of thing, but it's an "out" and there's a pub involved so nothing to lose.
Edit - it's less scary going on my own because it's a new club so no one will know each other. I'd probably be slightly less keen walking into an established set up as a newcomer.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Well done on the sideboard, Calley! It looks lovely! I also spy little cute things sitting on it!

    Do you mean the dragons?

They are a bride, groom and a ring bearer.

They were on top of my wedding cake.

They are from a collection called the Whimsical World Of Pocket Dragon.

Don't think they make them any more. But are loads of them of different types.

All the other bridal cake toppers were all a bit twee for me. So choose them.

I have a very clean living room tho just the curtains to iron and put back up and it's done.

Boo has driven me mad. Don't think he grasps I don't care Sophie is in season so howling at me, crying, sniffing at doors and windows, howling some more oh and a bit more crying isn't going to mean I let her in for rudeness

Melly, what are Sophie's owners thinking of, letting her wander about in season? Do they want a litter of puppies to be responsible for? :(
