It was a really pretty light

I am going to get one or three next week then will take pics.

I like spiders. I don't like the idea of 4 or 500 coming in through the open windows tho.
  • This paranoia and anxiety is ridiculous. Sitting up all night hanging myself for perceived wrongs I have done to others over 20 years ago is also ridiculous. I know it is a biochemical imbalance, I know what I am thinking isn't rational and that does absolutely nothing to stop the emotional impact or the intrusive thoughts. Please cross everything for me that I can manage to get some sleep now it is daylight. Lack of sleep makes the psychosis worse, but yet how can one sleep when one is filled with guilt and self-loathing for things one has done in the past that others probably didn't notice, have likely long forgotten or that weren't actually harmful to anyone at all? I need to sleep.

I hope you get some sleep WaS. I've been awake most of the night too, Little Sod was barking at as anything and everything so in the end I had to bring him in to my room so I could poke him with my toe each time he started.

I don't know how it works for you, but when I get thoughts like that I do sword fighting! Each negative or unwanted thought you get, you have to counter it with a 'ah ha, but I also did this lovely thing for someone!'. It only works if you imagine yourself in olde English clothing, and do the 'ah ha!' bit very dramatically whilst imagining brandishing a sword!

It is exhausting trying to think of your comebacks, but the longer you can swordfight the more you even things up. Therefore even if you did do all the negative things you are thinking (which I suspect you didn't!), the longer the swordfight goes on, the more it proves to you that you have done some lovely things to.

I can start you off with...

'Ah ha! But I also gave Katy the opportunity to remind herself about swordfighting, which she is now going to use to try and counter some of her worries today!'
(It also helps if you imagine yourself with a curly moustache....)

...and you are probably right, WaS, most of the 'terrible/ things you did probably weren't even noticed by the people you 'did them to'.

I suggest a mining expedition. Visualise your inner ... well, I see a Mario character. Dress him up nicely, then send him into your heart to find the pure love in the middle. See him dig his way nicely in, find it, and feel how good it feels when he hits love and it pours out into your whole system and refreshes it (and one of the first effects today will probably be that you can sleep!)

WaS, everything is crossed, hoping you manage to get some sleep and that it helps. :)

I love Katy's idea, it's brilliant! :rotfl: *imagines oneself with a curly moustache....I think I'd look quite dashing'* :p

    Morning my lovelies,

I can see some did not get the sleep they hoped for. Neither did I.

But the the sideboard is now finished with help from a friend. So now need to decide where to put everything LOL!!!!!

And I was going to freecycle the other cabinet. But think I will keep it and some how take it back up stairs LOL!!!

No plans apart from doing the washing as put last pair of clean knickers on today LOL!!!

apart from keep moving stuff not sure what is on the agenda. It feels hot already so might be a case of staying indoors and doing bits and pieces.

Feeling unsettled this morning and no idea why.

Feel like I want to cry again no idea why. Nothing bad has happened. had a nice evening with a friend who helped me last night.

Think I need to go and do some stuff that might help take my mind off it all.

    Catch you later.

    Yours

    Calley
