    Metalswan – ((((squish))))

Calley – what a bummer – but so pleased to hear you say that you will not be bothering with him again and also that you are not angry. That’s a really healthy mindset – I am the same as Katy – one chance only rule……you are a lovely lady and deserve a man who turns up 10 minutes early to secure the nicest table with a little bunch of flowers (which he obsessively worries that you might not like) and is almost tripping over his words for the first ten minutes because he is so awed to get the opportunity to meet your lovely self. Nuff said.

Katy – absolutely nothing for you to feel guilty about. It is not YOUR fault the place is short staffed, that is the managers fault. Great to hear that you will have the next three weeks off to calm, rest and get nicely prepared for the escape attempt and the ensuing onslaught of convicts who will want to visit the new escapee!! I want to name the escapee “lil squish” like “lil crush out of nemo coz a) it’s cool and b) everyone will want to squish him.

Elona – Beautifully put - a life of love and happiness shines through your words……..many squishes for your still too recent loss

Moo – fingers crossed that the next few weeks will see the neighbours turning over a new leaf. ((squish))

Crappy day all round - but I did think of you lot and smile whilst I was facing the nightmare of the supermarket when I saw oreos, Jaffa cakes etc

WaS just couldn't do it, it's like spider city out there but they can be all safe whilst they finish growing

Not a peep out of upstairs the fact I conducted the meeting with the housing outside in full view and earshot worked then.

Boo is lovesick. We have an in season Yorke visiting (again) poor soul is very sad lol

Noooo Flybaby, not (((squish))), it's ~~~squish~~~!

Mellymoo, when you ask, " Flybaby, you still feeling poo?", it conjures up an image of Flybaby with her hands in something horrible! :D

JM, I always thought that about penguins too. How would people know to avoid them if they didn't know what was in them?!

We should have all done what WaS does! It was her idea really - she always gives her penguins a title. (No, I DON'T mean Lord Percival! :D)

Thank you for your kind words everyone. I suppose I just felt like I gave up too soon, but things were never going to improve there. I think the next step is a tribunal, but not until things have calmed and I am feeling more up to it. I can't let them keep treating people like that.

I have mixed feelings about the spiders Melly. Smaller than a 5p piece are fine and are welcome to share my home providing they avoid Little Sod otherwise he will eat them. Larger than that and as long as I never see them they are fine to do what they like, but come near me and hysterics will ensue!

I wish I could penguin at times, but it is too difficult on a tablet. Makes me think before I type anything though, and I often realise that things I would penguin wouldn't actually benefit anyone (including me) to put out there anyway.

I do however wish I could do photos and the pretty little pictures people do! Oh and wish the 'thanks' button was larger and easier to click!

Exactly you can't keep letting people treat you like that and there are two of you to think about not just one. And it was not doing your physical or mental health any favours.

Admitting it was not doing you any good is not a defeat. You saw the situation and tried to sort it out. And your boss was being unreasonable.

As I said kick back for the next few weeks and take some time to rest and do what you want to do.
