    Thank you.

    Its been a needle and thread day. So so :rotfl:

    Still not 100% at the moment. Feeling a bit bored at the moment. Not that I should be as have had plenty of things to do.

    Done 3 loads of washing and now have some clean dry knickers to wear tomorrow :rotfl:

    As I said to someone I chat to online I am going to choose and not be chosen any more.

    its going to take time as I still have feelings for my ex. But I am working through it bit by bit.

    Well done on the weight lose. I have no suggestions.

    Yours

    Calley

    So, over to you code and MU! :) I hope you're both ok, and hope to hear from you soon, I miss you both, and tea too.

    Yey!!! Georgie! Well done! :T

    WaS, over the years, and with the best will in the world, we all sometimes say or do things that unintentionally hurt people. Things might get misunderstood, or we may have had a bad day and snapped, or just through sheer inexperience when we are young.

    It's called being human.
    The important thing is realising, however much later, what the consequences of those actions might have been.
    The people concerned would have long since forgotten any slights or rudeness.
    You are aware of your past actions/words and what effect those actions/words might have had on someone. That's what matters.

    Since then, what have you achieved? You have become a very caring person, with an empathy that outstrips that of most people.
    Your early experiences could have led you down the path of hatred, selfishness and anger against society, but it didn't. It had the opposite effect, making you understand the suffering of others and want to help them.

    Just by starting this thread a year ago, you have helped loads of people, and educated dozens of others, myself included, in aspects of MH problems, treatments and outcomes.

    Being human many years ago and making a few mistakes does not warrant feeling guilty now, as you have more than compensated for those mistakes in what you have done and achieved since!

    Please, please, give yourself a break! ((((((WaS)))))) :A
    ~~~~WaS~~~~ !!! :rotfl:
    By the way, if those stupid voices are saying anything different, tell them that they'll have ME to contend with if they don't shut up, and I am far SCARIER than Cynthia Cyst when I'm riled by injustice! :mad:
    So there! :D
    Calley, would it be possible for you to go out for a little walk? If it's as nice a day where you are as it is here, I'm sure it would do you good! :)
    Or maybe a bit of pottering around the garden?
    I actually planted a couple of plants yesterday! First time in two years! (I used to spend hours in my garden, before it all got scary!)
    I'd gone to the garden centre to have lunch.... I used to go there a lot, but hadn't been for months. Had a lovely mushroom and courgette risotto - delicious! - then had a look round, and, inevitably, found a couple of plants in the reduced section! So when I got home home I decided to plant them straight away. Yey me! :D
    oldestgnome, I am starting to get a similar problem. I think time will take care of some of it. So hold on in there!
    Hahahaha! Than you so much for the ideas! I love both of them and will be trying them! Maybe I should give my Mario an extra curly moustache!
    I managed to sleep and feel a lot better. Tiredness is a huge trigger for my imbalances, the psychosis becomes far worse very quickly if I don't sleep. I have to be careful because tiredness triggers psychosis, which triggers thoughts that keep me awake, which triggers further psychosis. During the psychotic breaks that I have been hospitalised for I had only slept for 90 minutes a night for the final week, by that stage it gets itself into a cycle, everything goes downhill rapidly and it is almost impossible to get out of it without medical help.
    In the welcome light of day though, I am not particularly concerned about my health right now. There are always a few bad weeks after a catatonic episode because obviously chemicals don't fix themselves overnight, it takes a bit of time. It's not easy to live through but it's expected, and it will get better again. I see my psychiatrist next week anyway, so I can tell him all about it. I refuse to let it get me down!
    Aw, thank you Pyxis. On an amusing note I apologised to my american friend last night for something I said that I thought slightly annoyed her...3 years ago. She couldn't recall the incident or even the entire conversation at all. She found it funny and sweet, she accepted my apology but pointed out that she couldn't have been offended in the slightest as she has no recollection of it whatsoever! I need to remember others don't cling onto every perceived bad thing that happens like me!
    Wheeeee!
    I'm dying to know what your psychiatrist will say about all your gaddings-about lately! :rotfl:
    Days out, holidays, oop North visits!
    Is this the same WaS, he will say? :rotfl:
    .... and one of the things that I am feeling guilty about is not saying hi to Whitewing in my last post :o
    Very sorry, WW, and lovely to see you back! xxx ~~~~WW~~~~
  • Hahahahaha! He will be quite pleased, Pyxis! He never pushes me to do anything because it's the fastest way to make me panic but he does make helpful suggestions of things I could do. Leaving the flat is always on the top of his list. The psychotic episode won't actually be that important to him, we know they happen sometimes and we have measures in place to deal with them that work when they do so that area is taken care of. It is only if they change in any way that we need to look at a different approach. As he says to me the most diligent diabetic in the world will still have times of low blood sugar, and I will still have times when my chemicals imbalance. It is a symptom of a current condition not a reason to think that things are any worse.
    There is a farm near here that opens to the public so that they can visit the animals which is the next thing I want to do. It was going to be this month but I think psychosis put paid to that so it is now planned for next month. They open to the public at 10am so I am hoping that they might let me visit before or after opening hours. They have wallabies!
    It is always lovely to see whitewing, JM!
    Thank you, oldestgnome, JM and WaS.
    I am still suffering with my sore throat but have some time off now, and bought 6 books at a charity shop en route to the chemist so have plenty to read.
    Someone asked about not being able to breathe at the colour run. I just tried to hold my breath at the paint stations and figured nostril hair would trap anything. Mostly the paint throwers were aiming at the torso. Some asthmatics wore masks - anything goes really at that kind of fun event. Someone else wore googles. Didn't matter - it was all in a good cause. One paint station was very enthusiastic and it was like fog - you couldn't see anything for a short period but it was still good fun.
    I did have a slightly low cut top on and got a massive cup of paint straight down my top (accidental). This combined with my 'perspiration' to stain my underwired bra. The paint washed out first time on all my clothes except the base of the bra. It is gradually fading each time I wash it.
    MIL has cream leather seats in the car but the powder paint just brushed off.
    I think the paint powder is the stuff used for food colouring ie edible stuff.
    thats one thing I'm slightly concerned about, or should I say my Mam and D are more concerned about. That I'll breathe it in, and not be able to breathe with being asthmatic. I've got some masks that I used when decorating once and D said to wear one of them, but I told him I'm not running round looking like Michael Jackson! :rotfl: Vain I know!
    I picked up our goodie bags today and got our t-shirts, numbers, wristbands and funky coloured (one orange and one yellow) pair of wayfarer style sunglasses!
    Enjoy your books WW, hope your sore throat is better soon :)
    Glad you got some sleep and are feeling better WaS :)
    Hugs to anyone who needs one ((( )))
    Hahaha! It's not permanent dye, then?
