I need to go into town. I hate town on a Saturday. The weekend paper is calling to me. Kick up the backside required in this direction as well (hangover not helping.
Eta- although on the positive side if I go out I can ignore the fact that my house is a complete shed and I've run out of clean cups again for a little while longer. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

You could be part of this bargain! :j
A tri-partite bargain!
You go into town, I'll go to Zumba, and Calley will go for an hour's walk! :j

Is that a bargain then?
(Looks suspicious)
Are we linking little fingers, crossing hearts and hope to die????
Yes it is a bargain.
I might walk in to town and go to the library and return my books. And that takes about 30 mins there and 30 mins back.

I tend to read a lot of self help books.
But one I recently read was what money can't buy -The moral limits of Markets author Michael J Sandel
Interesting. Its about should everything in life be for sale.

Sounds interesting. Possibly a bit heavy for me at the moment. Although for some strange reason that's just reminded me to look out for the book JM recommended the other day, so thank you for that. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Morning all!
I'm sure you haven't been upsetting people WaS. Hope today is a better day for you.
Was absolutely pooped when we got home last night. Absolutely drained. A combination of travelling 5 hours in a hot car, walking round a hot shopping centre and trying to find MIL a dress for the wedding of the century!I thought my Mam was fussy, but wow, she was hard work bless her! She still never found anything in the end up!
I was honest with her but not as brutally honest as I would have been with say a close friend or my Mam for example, and at one point she got stuck in a dress, so I had to go and help her out! She was getting all hot and bothered, it's not really a good time to try clothes on when it's hot!
I've took her round a dress my Mam gave me to sell on eBay and I'll have a look in my Mam's wardrobe. Poor thing is really stressing herself that she's not going to look good enough and that she's going to show the side up.0 -

So, is it a bargain for you too, Elsien?(I just lurve spiders!)

If it was too heavy then I would not be reading it. As my concentration has gone down a bit over the last few weeks.
Would say it was medium heavy if that makes sense LOL!!
I rarely do.
Off to meet husband for coffee later. So will combine my walk and going to the library at the same time.
