Look at all of you healthy people! I am impressed! (She says as she settles down onto the sofa with a coffee).

I feel a bit better today. I am still not feeling great but the lack of painkillers could be a reason for that because not only am I hurting, they also work with my other medication to keep me calm. I am still trying to figure out how my doctors receptionists assumed 5th June to 18 July was 28 days so they didn't need to give him my prescription. They had also managed to lose the original prescription copy.

To be fair to them they are ridiculously short staffed, there are only 2 doctors to 10,000 patients right now and they are advertising for staff in all areas. WaSp says everytime he goes there that people are yelling and saying that mistakes have been made. They are just far too busy and run off their feet.

The problem seems to be that the receptionists hold back the prescriptions until they believe they are due rather than giving them to the doctors immediately. The one I spoke to said it was nothing to do with her and it would be done urgently for Monday morning but something seems to go wrong every time. I think I might have to say something to my doctor, at the very least to ask if he can give me 3 months at a time so this can only go wrong 4 times a year. Eeeeeeep! I am not good at complaining!

Speak to the practice manager? They might be busy, but making prescription mistakes isn't ok.

Well, I'm back from Zumba and I'm so glad I went! It's really pepped me up!

If it hadn't been for the bargain, I might have slithered back into my pit, so thanks guys!

We did it outside and there was a lovely breeze so it wasn't too hot!

Then I had a stem ginger ice cream , 'cos ginger is soooooo good for you! :D

Well done, Pyxis! I have never had ginger ice cream, I am missing out!

Of course your OH isn't abusive, Melly. Nothing you have said implies that. He is battling his own demons and you are being incredibly supportive of him while he tries to get better. I notice he always apologises to you after he shouts, he doesn't mean to hurt you and that's obvious.

Talking to the Practice Manager is a good idea, thank you. I can't blame my doctor because he knows very little about it, the prescriptions aren't passed to him which is where the problem with the policy comes in. As soon as he gets them he fills them out immediately, it's just actually getting them to him! I could see him every month when it's due but it is a waste of an appointment time and kind of negates the whole point of a repeat prescription...

Just one person, Melly. Stick 'em on ignore if you don't want to read anything else from them.
So, cheering you up....hmmm. I'd offer you strawberries and ice cream, if Gitdog hadn't got into picking his own. Just had to drag him away from the neighbours garden when he decided mine were insufficient. That was embarrassing.
Could you and OH go out somewhere nice tomorrow, away from the hassles of the house? It's definitely beer garden weather. If there's such a thing as a child free beer garden.

Just a bit sensitive I think.

He does WaS he's getting better at recognising that he's doing it so tantrums stop much earlier than they did.

Lol at Gitdog Froo has discovered my raspberries so I now have none.
