Hugs Was. Let me share the amazinvery thing I just saw, especially as DH is being such a penis about it. (He might have had to look up from a game to watch and that's never going to happen).
I was lying on my bed reading when I heard a lot of noise from outside. Lots of bird noise. So I looked out the window. It's a beautiful evening here, and it was around dusk, where the sun is beginning to set and there's a lovely warm light to the sky. The air was still and there was not a bird to be seen, except from on the roof of a block of flats where about 70 crows had congregated and were cawing loudly. It was like a scene from The Birds and was weirdly beautiful and creepy all at the same time. There's an ancient wood nearby and a huge swarm of crows (I know it's a murder of crows but that doesn't convey how many there were) came flying out of the trees at once, circled and some flew back into the trees and the others came to join their friends on the roof before some more took off and circled right past my windows. They circled a few more times then most of them flew back into the woods, except 20 of them who stayed on the roof. They were young crows and the whole crow community had congregated together to teach them how to fly. It was really beautiful and I feel so privileged that I got to see it.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. WaS - sounds like you had a great time
Silly receptionist though, its such an unfortunate oversight. I hope you don't have horrible withdrawal again.
Calley - *hugs* I get it, its horrible feeling like that. Please try to do things for yourself. Dying your hair because you want to do it, having a shower because it makes you feel better. As for the 'friend' - yes its a pointless lie, but it was to cover themselves because they're ashamed of their own behaviour. In no way does it reflect on you. Be kind to yourself, I hope the bruising clears up quickly. I'm slightly jealous that you get to garden! I'd love to help.
Code - the crows sound amazing! Its really rare to see large flights of crows, could they have been rooks? Rooks live in colonies and an ancient wood sounds perfect for them.
Today, all week I've been putting off phoning to get help with my ESA appeal. Managed to get away with a single phonecall today - to my new Drs. I also made a list of all my symptoms, arranged by medical condition - 5 of them. I only have 2 diagnoses - so getting the other 3 added might be fun. But pushing to get them diagnosed properly will be helpful. The dissociation may need a CMHT referral, which I really really need.
Yest I had an unrelated hosp appointment and my legs are screaming in pain today! I can't believe the physical change over the last few months!
Tomorrow will be a better day:AStarting again on my own this time!! - Defective flylady! :A0 -
Code, your crowy birds sounded fantastic!
I suspect they are rooks though.
How do you tell the difference? Well, the adage goes "A crow in a crowd is a rook, and a rook on it's own is a crow."
WaS, don't feel bad! I'm sure whoever you think you have upset doesn't think you have!
It's just your lack of meds making you feel grotty!
You help dozens and dozens of people on here, so don't stop posting!
Our performance went well tonight! Very well received! I enjoyed it!
Got home just before the thunder and lightning started, but it hasn't started to rain yet. I hope it gives the tubs a good soaking. I've neglected them a lot lately, and lost some plants as a result. Oh well.(I just lurve spiders!)

I lost patience with a lot of things and people over the last few years.
I lost contact with her once before for about 4 yrs then bumped in to her in the local supermarket. A couple other incidents have proven only wants me when they want help with something.
I am watching the lighting now. As just come back from our local 24hr tescos, don't ask. Good show. We have had rain. I watered the pots this evening !!!!!! LOL!!!
Well at the moment its not really gardening it's what I call grunt work. Digging stuff up and total revamp. But once done will be nice and then some proper gardening can be done LOL!!!
So do I. It looks like someone has taken a hammer to my legs LOL!!! The worst bruises I ever had was when I went ice skating and my knees were really black and blue.
I really need some sleep!!! I can hope lol!!!

Calley, can I make a bargain with you?
Due to having been unwell for two and a half weeks, I haven't been to any Zumba. Consequently am feeling very sluggish and lethargic and apathetic.
There is a Zumba session due this afternoon. The inner slug in me is pulling me to ignore it and stay slothed out, as I have been doing.
The bargain is this........
If I promise to do the Zumba thing this afternoon, do you promise to go out for an hour's walk? At a time of your choosing providing it is today.
My Zumba thing is at 3.00. So I would have to leave the house by 2.00 as I'd go by bus.
What do you say?
Ps. Anyone else can be part of this bargain!
Note.....if no-one joins in, I'm quite likely to give in to the inner slug!(I just lurve spiders!)

Sounds like a deal. I am still in bed at the moment. But I am sure I can manage it.
