You should make this bargaining thing a daily or 2-3 times a week thing Pyxis! I need to get some training in for this colour run! I know it's only 5k, but I feel so unfit and overweight at the moment and I don't like it. :(

I can walk miles and miles and miles without really suffering, but if I try and run, it seems to trigger my asthma and I need my inhaler. :(

I've got just under a month to try and get a bit fitter, and get some more sponsors! I think the main area I need to focus on is my rear end! :p My waist is still tiny, but my bum wobbles when I run, D called me a Kardashian last night! :rotfl:

Me too, that's what I do! Tbh, I usually just order loads of stuff from the internet and then send back what doesn't fit/I don't like.

I'm asthmatic too, and I've never been able to run, but could walk for England! I can Zumba though. Weird! That can be just as energetic!

Have you tried that programme where you walk for a bit, then run a few yards, then walk a bit more, then run a bit? You could start off just running a very short distance, in between walking, and gradually increase the running distances over a period of weeks.

I have been.:D Forgot the receipt so couldn't get a refund on something which was the main reason for going, so will have to go back another time. Pah. Nice out though, not too hot today.

    Over to Calley and Pyxis........

I did couch 2 5k and found it really good for building up. Not done anything for a couple of months now though, so would probably have to start towards the beginning again.

I've heard good things about that couch to 5k. I think I might give that a try. :)

It's strange isn't it how certain kinds of exercise sets the asthma off?

The run, walk, run, walk method is what my Dad used to do all the time. He was really good at running, and when he was in the army, he was told that he was that good that he could have competed in the Olympics! :D My cousin runs up fells! I used to do cross country, but tbh, I think that gene has passed me by! :rotfl:
