You hang your washing out at night?

In the summer I do sometimes. especially if I have been up half the night. I know the job is done. And I don't have to worry about it in the morning incase I over sleep.

looks like its going to rain at 3pm tomorrow.

I am not sure if all areas do this but there used to be a scheme where if you were between prescriptions you could go to the chemist's and get a five day emergency supply.

You would pay for it and then when the prescription itself arrived you could offset the cost.

just been hanging out the washing and the street lamps have gone out.

I thought that last night when I got back in after midnight but thought it might have been the lighting.

Nope just realised that our street is being shut off at midnight to save the council money.

I knew they where doing it but was not sure where. And they never told us.

Its fine as I am normally in way before midnight as I don't have a social life and not a dirty little stop out :rotfl:

Round my way they turn off every other light. I was really hoping it'd be the one outside my bedroom window, but no such luck.
Do you feel any better than you did this morning, Calley?

Yes I would have thought that was a better option but there you go, They got rid of the green bin collection and you have to pay £40 if you want one. Again to save money.

    I do thank you.

Apart from not being asleep yet :rotfl:

Hope everyone is ok :) *hugs*

Had a lovely time with Swain, we stayed up to watch the thunderstorm, we stood on the little alley thing inbetween the houses and watched all the lightning :) in a weird way it was quite romantic (if thunderstorms are your thing!)!

I'm lucky, my green bin is still free, although one neighbouring council isn't, and another only provides puny little bags.

We also have the option every year of being able to collect a free sack of the compost that they make out of all the green collections. Trouble is, as you have to take your own containers and lift it in and out of the car yourself, I can no longer get some, due to my damaged wrist joints. :(

Knackered due to 2 hours sleep.
Got a load of washing in about to wash up, do the bathroom then dog hike time.

Bearing in mind how hard I'm finding washing my hair should I try to dye it?

Depends if you're dyeing it due to grey, or because you fancy a change.

If due to grey, it depends how much the grey bothers you. If it bothers you a lot, I'd say it is worth it. Plus you could find a hairdresser who comes to your house to do it. That solves the hair washing problem too, as she'll do it for you! That's what I do, every five or six weeks, and she's much cheaper than going to a salon.

If you just fancy a change, I'd say don't. You can always leave washing your hair for a few days if your arms are bad, but once those roots start showing, if you leave them, you'll feel worse!
