    Welcome JCS1

WaS, so glad to read you had a great time with your friend, were able to stay longer and came back with a great life changing gift that your friend will know you will benefit so much from (If you can get past WaSp) to use it!! :)

I hang my washing out at night in the summer too. Often dry by the time I get up as its light and warm so early.

    Ginger icecream. Yum!!!

Our green bins are charged for too.

Pyxis- I get back at the end of August.

Elsien, almost all of those things do not have to be done today! Enjoy your walk then tackle the essentials :)

I love storms and lightning MU and agree they are romantic :) this picture was on my facebook feed from lastnights storms in South Yorkshire

Do my hair for me too Melly!
My roots are awful but I can't stand the thought of sitting in the hairdressers for 3 hours, and definitely wouldn't last that long without needing a wee these days!
My hairdresser is lovely, he demanded to see pictures of our wedding as we had a comic book wedding and he wanted to steal the idea for when he gets married. Only trouble is, he spent about 20 hours in total sorting out a hair dye mess with my hair to get it ready for the wedding and then I ended up putting it up anyway!

Only ten weeks now till my due date. Still very scared of being alone with baby though, my mood and temper is still pretty ropey. Got midwife appointment next weeks so will try and explain then, but because hubby comes with me I always feel fine then and so at the time it doesn't seem much of an issue.

Hope everyone is having a good day

Katy, write it all down and give that to the midwife to read.

Enjoy your day with Gitdog, elsien! I hope you feel a bit better today about the people you used to work with. Something similar happened to one of my ex-clients after he was moved and I am sure it was the stress that caused him to become unwell. I know how it plays on your mind.

Well done on the peas and smoothies, Melly! I was wondering how the eating was going but didn't want to appear to be nagging. You are doing well and that made me smile.

Welcome to our thread JCS1. One of my pet peeves is how severity is judged. What YOU feel is what counts, we all have different coping strategies and just because people appear to hold it together better than others doesn't mean they are less unwell. Have you thought of contacting MIND? They may have some ideas for you and also offer counselling and advocacy which could push things along a little? You are always welcome to talk here, we will not judge you in any way.

I am so sunburnt. My skin is falling off in clumps, I only sat in the sun for 2 hours! I am covered in cream but it is sore and itchy! It's an annoying problem because sun actually helps my psoriasis but ruins the rest of me! I am also not supposed to sit in it because one of my medications can cause dark blemishes if I am exposed to too much sunlight but my psoriasis would love it. Argh!

I may get some medication tomorrow. I hope so because I am out of antidepressants now, too. I am going to get WaSp to drop off a letter to the Practice Manager highlighting the almost monthly problems.

In other news I got up to find my cuddly pencil topper clanger sitting on the tv stand and staring up at the tv. WaSp says it is nothing to do with him, the little guy climbed up there for a better view sometime yesterday. I love WaSp.

Are you able to watch the Clangers, WaS? I do hope so! I've been watching them all! They make me smile, they're so sweet and gentle, and it always ends happily and with a little gentle moral tale. Makes me go all marshmallowy inside!:)

I just love them to pieces! :)

And who says you can't understand them? Of course you can! Clangerish has the same intonation as English, so it's easy! :D

Ah, WaSp is just a big softy!

I *think* we have just set the new tv to record every Clangers episode. Possibly. Everyone cross everything! The new tv is ridiculously huge but so much better for my eyes. I can read forums for hours without my eye and head hurting, now we just need to figure out how to get a mouse to work with it!

Do they make a Clanger-shaped mouse?
