Calley, I think a pet would be ideal for you! My in-laws have a black Cockapoo and she is the lovliest little dog there ever was. She was supposed to be a 'miniature' poodle cross, but she's the size of a normal cocker spaniel so we doubt her Mum was quite as mini as advertised, but it just means there's more of her to love! She's brilliant with DS and very clever and has been easy to train. :)

Have you got arnica for your bruises by the way? The cream does wonders on my bruises (I am stupidly sensitive to knocks, I'm always covered in marks!).

Katy, a comic book wedding sounds really cool! Make sure that you are very clear with your MW about your worries and hopefully they'll make sure you have extra support when baby is here. Being alone with the baby isn't so bad, just try to get out of the house every day. You should be able to get a timetable for the local Children's Centre from your MW and there are usually plenty of groups to go to for free/very little where you can get out and get some support. If you can afford it, maybe look into joining NCT too? The more support you have around you the better. :)

I haven't seen any of the new Clangers show, I really need to catch up! :o My DS is a freak and doesn't watch TV so I'm totally out of the loop with kids TV. It's not even like we're strict no-TV parents, it's on in the background most of the day with our shows on, if we put kids shows on he ignores it so we don't bother. The only thing that catches his interest is Pointless and the credits to The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother! :p

ETA: Enjoy Ikea Pyxis! I love Ikea and 'have' to go fairly regularly for frames for my little craft business. The do still do the Daim cake, it's lush! You can also get Toblerone cake now, yummy! They also sell lovely little lemon tarts in the cafe which I love! :)

I was just thinking last night (after Calley posted pics of her dress), I haven't got any dresses left in my wardrobe (apart from my Wedding dress) now after I sold the too small ones on eBay! I'm really not a dress person at all. I'm not bothered about showing my legs, I'll happily wear shorts, but just feel awkward in dresses. I admire them from afar! Those are some pretty dresses Calley and HBS!

Having said all that, I've ordered some from Amy Childs website for nieces wedding in August.

MIL still hasn't found anything yet, I'm still on the hunt!

Enjoy Ikea Pyxis! I haven't been for years, passed one the other day, wanted to go in but it was getting abit late and MIL was tired. I bet you come home with loads of stuff you never knew you needed? Enjoy the cake, sounds yummy! :D

Was looking on that animal rescue place again (Mam still doesn't want a pet, but it doesn't stop me from looking!) and there was a Cockapoo named Henry!! Awwwww!! He was reserved, I bet he was snapped up so fast!

Pyxis I hope you read emails on your phone while you're travelling!

It is now officially the law that you have to buy a giant size bag of mini Daim bars whenever you visit IKEA. I am in the middle of a serious pigout. The half empty bag is actually in the bed, covered with the duvet so I can't see it (note to self, must move as DH coming home tomorrow).

The mini bars are even better than the cake, which I found a little disappointing last time I had one.....

I need a new dress for a wedding I have to go to in September. I'm looking at Lindy Bop dresses. There are so many I like, but I don't know what size I'm going to be!!

I should wear dresses more - I have good legs (with tights on as I am white as a ghost) but I'm in the process of burning off a massive cherry angioma from my lower thigh and it's just ugly.

    Pass the daim bars jm!!!

    Morning my Lovelies,

Just woken up. Thanks to everyone for your kind words about the dresses. I am not a girlie girl but do like to look nice.

Linda Bop dresses are lush but not sure its my style and also can't afford the price.

I make a vampire look like it has a tan. So I have a little secret that makes me feel super good and sexy about myself. I wear stockings. As tights are just to much in the heat and it just makes me feel good about myself.

I hate ikea I get lost in there LOL!!!!

One question. I am suppose to be collecting an item from freecycle. And they want to see identification!!! Should I be concerned or is it just me thinking thats a bit strange and over cautious. Never had to do that before when I collected a sofa before.

Any how it a lot cooler today after all the rain. And I think my meds are messing with my sleep patterns. I am starting to feel better. Think I might go up to the next dose to see if helps.

Any how suppose I better get my backside out of bed and do something.

    Yours

    Calley

Oooh Code, thank you for introducing me to Lindy Bop, what gorgeous dresses and quite reasonably priced! I now have a wishlist as long as my arm! :) I'm a dress girl, I find them loads more comfortable and forgiving than trousers (small waist + big hips = trouser woes!) and people are usually pretty shocked if they see me in trousers! :o I have rubbish white, blotchy legs but I don't let that stop me, I wear tights most of the time; today I have my legs out but it's a knee length skirt so I'm just sucking it up for once and I doubt people are so interested in my legs to have a good look anyway! :p

Calley, showing ID for freecycle is weird. Can't see it's any thing to be worried about on your side though. They must just be hugely over cautious.

I trawled that site and Vivienne of Holloway for wedding dress inspiration as if I have to wear a dress, I do really like those 50's style Audrey dresses. I ended up with an ivory one with a red petticoat underneath! :)

I really like this one of that site: http://www.lindybop.co.uk/dresses-c1/audrey-1950s-turquoise-floral-rockabilly-dress-p59 Love turquoise!

Eta: I've ordered this dress http://amychildsofficial.co.uk/index.php/dolly-yellow.html and this one http://amychildsofficial.co.uk/index.php/sale/estelle.html
