Fmess - is it marking for the exam board? You mentioned that it was well paid, so I know it isn't my subject!! Is your quota self-imposed? Or one set for you? Can you do, for example, 3 days of it, and see how much of it you are able to complete. And then make your decision?

tog - your ds1 is an inspiration!

Today I am grateful'for warm and wimdy weather that dried the washing, for the fact that daisies always flourish no matter how often ypu mow them, for my 15 sheets of different coloired felt, for selling an old bike of dd's, for dh's hm curries.

Bouncing and so upset. Love my little house, lived here 6 years and spent lots of time, energy and money on making it perfect for me. To hear that my ex has sold his house(was ours) now downsizing and seriously considering buying a house that backs onto me almost. Well probably see my bedrooms and my patio from the upstairs of the house. So unfair if he does that, totally gutted. Hope my daughters manage to put him off or else I would have to move.

Sorry rant over. Why does life never go smoothly :-(

Yes it's exam board marking and everyone gets the same quota. I've called up my point of contact and she said to just work as and when I could and that the deadline would not be imposed. Feeling a lot more relieved as should have started on Monday but due to hold ups, I haven't done any yet.

How annoying! If you told him you didn't want him that close, would it make a difference?

No idea, few houses for sale locally which don't look into my bedroom about same price range. It's not that nice house, overpriced and been on the market for yrs.

Fmess think if he knew it would upset me, he would buy it. Hasn't spoken to me since we split 6 years ago. Beginning to wish I had bought further afield.

    Trying to stay positive x

Awkward would be an understatement. I do hope he'll reconsider and decide against it. I feel for you calling

Hugs Fmess, take it a bit easier. Glad you phoned them and it took some pressure off.

Calling annoying is an understatement. Hopefully he only threatens to to buy that to upset you but doesn't actually pull through or doesn't get the house.

Tog agree, your son is a star.

Probably another SFD today. Running low on food so making a list for a small top up shop tomorrow and a detailed meal plan for next week as I only have £50 left to last till Payday on the 30th and this month I'm adamant I won't dip into savings again.

Will go for a run today, hoping the weather gets a bit nicer though

    Hello everyone!

I did enjoy my night out last night, but am not well today, and I wish it was connected but it isn't. OH has had to take me to the pharmacy to get some meds, and we had a laugh about how clueless they were in there. I think if I wanted to buy some make-up or body cream, I'd be all right, but the actual medicines were a bit sparse and they didn't seem to know what it was I wanted!
OH insisted I stay home, so I have lots of guilt because I have lots of obligations to people, not least work. But I do feel crap.

Today, I'm just grateful for him

Thanks for your support turtles, calmed me down.

Day off had a lie in till 9am not sure that was good idea, so tired now. Decided to get house cleaned, bedding on line, dog walked, grass cut, paths weeded, lemon and garlic chicken in oven, kitchen floor cleaned only because knocked whole cup of coffee all over me and the floor. So another wash load on and my favourite slippers.

Pigged out on crumpets so will push hoover around, dust(pet hate)ironing and go and check on friends house, water plants. I had ocd with weeds started weeding her garden whilst watering the other day. Stopped myself.

Planning a Sfd will check stores and make list no spending ;-)
