Another great quote. Thanks Shyspender and thanks for running June challenge.

I ended up spending today, needed milk and few other items sfd 18/20 close but not good enough.

Had a lovely day off now just been ruined by hearing my ex has had offer he put in on the house behind me accepted. So upset considering testing the market and putting my house up for sale. I just don't think I can relax with him living there.

Walk with dog and some serious thinking time. Sorry to whine on last day of challenge.

Oh no calling, how annoying/upsetting/angering for you! Hugs

SFD today and another hectic marking one. Progress made but it is slow going and the end seems so far away (and yet so near as the deadlines loom!)

Loved the sunshine today but very grateful for my electric fan tonight. Also my car stopped twice on the way home from work :( not sure why but hoping it fixes itself!

Well I have decided to man up and not move. Not going to give him the satisfaction to be honest most garden is secluded anyway. Will just get some blinds for my bedrooms cheaper than legal costs to move house.

Thanks for all your supportive comments

Hope everyone is coping in this heat, think I might try another bedroom tonight this one is unbearable. Feeling sorry for my old doggie today. Will take her for a swim tomorrow to cool down.

See all you in July, staying up to make the most the extra second we have tonight?!

  • Well done on getting in that overtime TheOnlyGirl... it is a real drag, but when you get your wages that shift will be a distant memory. Make hay whilst the sun shines and all that, right

Thanks abundant. The overtime shift flew over quickly, as it was really busy. I did manage to get away an hour early though, thanks to my lovely manager who was very complementary and appreciative, I felt embarrassed at times. The evening meal with my extended family went well. However, I think I drew the short straw as tomorrow I am the designated school run mum/auntie for my nephew and nieces because my brothers and sisters in law are all working tomorrow morning. Hmmmppph. Never mind. They used to help me a lot with my kids too when they were little. That's what families are for right?

Oh calling, I didn't think he would go through it. I thought he was just winding you up. You never know, just because his offer was accepted means he IS going to move in right? Lots of things could happen between now and the exchange of contract. I am sure in due time you will know what to do best. Hugs.

To close this month of June, I am happy to declare 18/20 NSD's. I didn't make it to twenty but it was 10 NSD's more than I did in May. I think pre-planning when to have the NSD's and SD's at the beginning of the month was a big contributory factor to the success rate. June was by no means an easy month because we only had my hubby's pay and left overs from May to spend the whole month. To say that it was tight is an understatement. Even so, we came under budget in all areas. :j

Shyspender I did get my £20'personal allowance that I used to buy gardening things, which is what I wanted. We are giving ourselves £25 personal allowance which we can spend on anything we like.

So see you in the July challenge.
