Lovely post abundant. Congratulations on becoming debt free.
SFD Number 4 for me today.
Today has been a bit disappointing as I was called into work to cover a shift. Day off instead tomorrow to do what I needed to do today.
Hope there one is enjoying the sunshine.xx

Wishus - the cake pigeon almost made me cry laughing - love it
Apple - thank you. I can normally maintain and actively work on cracking one goal but if I try to plug away at two goals I tend to crumble and ruin both of them. Plus most of my unnecessary spends are junk food anyway so hopefully my money goals can tick away passively in the background
Yesterday we headed over to a friend's birthday bbq. I spent a tenner on meat for it but it kind of came out quite well, I would have bought her a bottle of her favourite wine, and had to feed DH that night too so we got a night out, fed, and no present required, for a tenner. Not bad really.
Today will be spend free - we're heading up to the playing field in a bit to fly his model helicopter as it's so beautiful outside. Have a lovely day everyone!

Hi all! Wishus, I'll be doing my cake pigeon impression next weekend in London as well - the cakes are beautiful, but so expensive! Sometimes I'm glad I'm lactose intolerant, so I'm definitely not tempted! Abundant, thank you for that post, it was lovely. Lilt, hope Jelly feels better soon.
Spendy day today - did the week's food shopping but only spent £24 as we've got some stuff in freezer still from batch cook I did a few weeks ago. Had to laugh at OH, as he insisted on walking back through the shop to get cheaper yoghurts for his lunches this week - he's more MSE than he thinks! :rotfl:
Went to Liverpool today to do the duck trail (big colourful ducks, like the Gromits in Bristol that time), so spent £7 on train fare - OH wanted to get lunch out but I made some sandwiches and some squash and we went to sit on the docks, so caught some of the Mersey River Festival as well, which was nice. Saw all the ducks and got some nice pictures, and was a fairly cheap day out! Planted chillis and peppers in the garden when I got home, and tried to revive my waterlogged raspberry plant. Shattered now! Have a good evening turtlesBought my first house in 2014 - now, to be mortgage free!

Today I am grateful for dd being on her third successive night trying to go to sleep by herself in her own bed, for having finished all my exam moderation, for dh doing all the washing up before travelling away for a few days, for peaceful evening time, for Stan - the one with those shorts - having a stonkingly good French Open final.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Hiya turtles. Lovely day could get used to this weather.
Well spent today. Went on meet up/date with old school friend to be fair he was fun, really nice turned up with flowers for me. Had a coffee long walk and then lunch. I was honest said I couldn't see a relationship with him, so paid for my own lunch. Good to catch up as friends and discuss all old school mates, agreed to meet up for a drink and see local band few weeks, with some other school friends.
So nice to get out and about. Done not a lot since I got home, sorted out sliding patio doors which were stiff, WD40 and good clean runners.
Lovely clean bedding dried outside, took my wall basket down all the coir lining taken by birds for nesting, so maybe spend and refill tomorrow.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
