I managed to give myself a hernia last Saturday, lifting big bags of potting soil to fill the former sandpit. The sandpit was lovely, incorporated in the terrace, the girls loved to play in it, but so did ALL the neighbourhood's cats (yuk); I decided to make it into a herb bed, with cat-protection.
So, no spending on Monday and Wednesday due to being too much in pain, making for NSD10 and NSD11. Spending day today as it's payday and the cupboards are full of nosh, the bank account full of dosh (till the bills start coming out) and the car full of motion lotion. Night shift tonight so Sainsbugs ready made curries on the menu - the cooking from scratch and meal planning stuff start tomorrow!
marmite - you could ask knitwitch to knit a special Wimbledon themed onesie for Igor to wear on his wedding night. I am sure Tatty will be delighted when he comes out of the bathroom looking like a giant Womble.
Rumour has it her wedding frock has a sequinned string vest top to it. I do hope she wears a proper vest underneath. One life - your life - live it!0 -

Well Knit Witch,I'll allow it,as long as this spending malarkey doesn't become a habit! :rotfl:No thanks - I'll just stick with trying to exceed 15
Still got a D/Debit to go out, and currently watching yet another DVD box set s-l-o-w-l-y drop in price. Doubt it'll go as low as I'd like it to (currently 20% down on what appears to be it's 'about normal' price, but still 35% up on where I really want it to get to), but I did always suspect I may have to pay closer to where it is now if I wanted any chance of getting hold of a copy Off to bed now, so I'll find out in about 7 hours whether I was silly not to order it before turning in or whether I've another day of regular checks (which still doesn't guarantee me getting a copy before the price flies back up)
I must admit, all this talk of box sets and TV series;I'm very curious to know what you enjoy watching.
You don't have to answer of course!I managed to give myself a hernia last Saturday, lifting big bags of potting soil to fill the former sandpit. Oh dear, poor you.Do take care.
Hubert has kindly offered to walk up and down your spine if you would care to lie on your tummy.I not actually sure that it would help your hernia problem, but thought you might be touched by his kindness.
I wouldn't accept in your place.I wouldn't want his hooves anywhere near me.He hasn't had a hooficure for weeks. :eek:0 -

It's very à la mode,you know.The Womble onesie,that is.
Those Italian designers Dontcha & Granada have currently got one out called 'Il Studmuffin',so goodness knows what Igor will make of it...
Yes,Tatty will be wearing her mum's old wedding dress, only it has to be taken in.The top is a beautiful ivory taffeta string vest....Knit_Witch wrote: »Should have them done tomorrow, they are in a fetching "Stripy Pyjama Horse" pattern
Oh,you are a gem! :T0 -
nargle I hope night duty goes ok.
Would you like for Cheffie to prepare you breakfast tomorrow morning?
He does nice pancakes, that is the ones that don't stick to the ceiling.Mrs Doyle will be there waiting with a nice cuppa for when you come in the door.In fact she'll probably stay up all night,in case you come home early.
If you feel peckish in the night, why not take in some chocolate moose.Cheffie's got loads left over from that raucous party a few month's back.
Yes,a few month's ago. Igor's bad habits are rubbing off on Cheffie.0 -
