Dropping by to announce the safe arrival of NSD number 18!!!! and target achieved! Can I increase target to 20 please? I know, daring of me and all that! One life - your life - live it!0
-
Are we all back from Goodwood? Splendid - tea and cake all round, please, Mrs Doyle!
Where's Igor? Oh, still pedalling his bike.....he really ought to train harder if he wants to keep up with the rest of us! I think the resident petrol heads amongst us enjoyed seeing all the fast cars, and Bert Scroggins certainly got put in his place, didn't he? Fancy trying to explain the workings of the internal combustion engine to Tatty, of all people - as a baby, she never had a rattle, she had a monkey wrench!
Oh here you are, Igor, go and put some green concealer on to tone down your bright red face. I am sure your fiancee will give you a soothing massage for those aching muscles - Chef! Bucket of chip fat over here, please!
How did everyone else enjoy the day?One life - your life - live it!0 -

Bert Scroggins, where did you get that car? Oh, from a mate, you say....going to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, are you?
Come on, gang, pile in, and bring the picnic basket, Chef, and the tea urn, Mrs Doyle, Tatty can sit in front next to Bert, the rest of us can squish in the back, and we can burn up some road.
Igor, you will have to follow behind. On your bike.
Poor Igor.He always gets the fuzzy end of the lollipop, doesn't he?
Keep away from local 'bad boy' Scroggins folks....
I just hope that young Bert doesn't try to seduce Tatty.I wouldn't put it past him....
Mind you,I think Tatty can look after herself.Nargleblast wrote: »Can I increase target to 20 please? I know, daring of me and all that!
Oops,I missed that.I'm 'on it'.Nargleblast wrote: »Are we all back from Goodwood? Splendid - tea and cake all round, please, Mrs Doyle!

Well Bert has had his comeuppance.I hear that he suggested a midnight tryst with young Tatty.Difficult to follow the rest of his conversation due to his strange falsetto voice....
Ah,rancid chip fat deep massage, lucky Igor....
Thank you,I've had a good day.I got lots of little jobs done, had a lovely swim, met a friend for a walk and had a very nice liquorice ice cream during said walk.I know that liquorice ice cream sounds bizarre but it's yummy.
Have you burned enough rubber today then?
Hubert has been practising like a mad thing for the upcoming egg and spoon race.In case you're wondering,he's going to carry the spoon in his mouth.
He only dropped the egg 57 times today,so that's an improvement on yesterday.
Knit Witch Igor wants to know if you'll have finished his new unmentionables soon?0 -

Still got a D/Debit to go out, and currently watching yet another DVD box set s-l-o-w-l-y drop in price. Doubt it'll go as low as I'd like it to (currently 20% down on what appears to be it's 'about normal' price, but still 35% up on where I really want it to get to), but I did always suspect I may have to pay closer to where it is now if I wanted any chance of getting hold of a copy Off to bed now, so I'll find out in about 7 hours whether I was silly not to order it before turning in or whether I've another day of regular checks (which still doesn't guarantee me getting a copy before the price flies back up)Cheryl0
