I take it they are not covered by anyone, they could just disappear.
WeRe Bank is un-hackable and has infinite energy supply based on access to the Universal Supply of Energy [USE]

Lloyds Banking Group (so that's Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland, Cheltenham & Gloucester etc) seem aware of these people as well and are not clearing any of WeRe Bank's 'cheques' either.
    !

All the banks are aware of this and are not clearing them, it's frequently discussed at industry calls.

And what are they doing to make sure that their customers are aware of them?

Banks are not responsible for customers being stupid. Perhaps helping them is ok, but do they really need to be told not to give your money to someone.

Banks publish literature about scams, unfortunately they can't legislate for stupidity.

    Probably just as well.

I've worked in banking for many a long year and most customers barely have the brain power to find their own front doors let alone make it out of the house and find the branch.

Having said that, a con as big as Were Bank is different. I'm sure the various banks could get together and come up with some ideas as to how to best inform their customers of such things.

    Do they?
