I am not sure though if £1299.19 is the amount to be received, or if they actually mean......

    £261.57 + £989.36 + £1299.19 = £2550.12

they do say the 1299 is an additional payment though, this is whats a little wierd.
and 989 is far too high for the 8% on 261 going back to 2002

for instance if it was the whole 261 from jan 2002 until today the 8% would only be 177

but if i do 1299 + 261 from jan 2002 it comes out at 1060
    if i move the 1299 + 261 (1560) to august 2002 it comes out at 988

so i think you are correct in getting back a full 2550, nice

  • i think what it shows is you didn't get a rebate on the ppi at the time of early settlement. in which case the 2550 is correct.

the numbers seem to stack up on that basis.

i think on this one its a case of wait and see, if you budget for the 261 + 989 the rest will be a bonus.

if you know the exact rebate amount i can have a proper look at what you should be looking at in total.

because of the 8% value they have published at 989 it would seem this is based on the 1299 + 261 so i would expect £2550

would be worth ringing them (or e-mail) just to confirm the overall total is £2550.
