yes i would contact fos, it doesnt sound right. keep us posted and good luck. you will get it sorted, and if it is 7,000 you wont have to give 25% away!!! by the way i only want 10%

Reclaimed PPI off Capital 1, only a £250 limit card so wasn't expecting much, got a letter Weds to say they'd be giving me £25. Not a lot but it'll clear a debt

Did they also send you a breakdown of the calculations, to make sure nothing have been missed, if not then request they send this if you require this, good luck.

Sent letter off in January complaining about mis-sold PPI. Got an acknowledgement letter a few weeks back saying they would like to speak to me to discuss the situation (i ignored this request!). Got a letter today saying they agreed with my complaint and they would refund £1,593.43 premiums plus £350.47 interest at 8%.
