Hi lucieloo,
This site is very good and someone is always ready to help answer your questions.
With regards to the First Plus loan, have a look at the first plus complaints site, just google it, everyone on there have had dealings with first plus and many are very experienced, so will be able to help you, I am sure.
They are also trying to get the interest rates reduced, have you noticed that although most other variable loans rates have reduced over the last couple of years, first plus have gone up?
Give them a try and good luck.

hi all
just thought id let everyone know that i used the template letter of this website, sent it away on the 11/11/2009 asking my bank to give me back the PPI insurance i was missold in an old account; i had with the RBS.
This loan finished in 2002 and the account was closed then.
i didnt have any details of the account or paperwork to submit, but i phoned the bank up to get a hold of these...i didnt think id get them but i did....lucky me..
anyhows i put these on the letter and this week 14/01/2010 i got a letter back saying that the bank was prepared to refund the insurance premiums and interest that i had paid totalling a whopping £1 938.42 how good was that....brilliant!!!! the bank did say that they weren't admitting liability in regards the ppi sale to me but as a goodwill gesture they would refund this, who cares....
im getting some money soon.....:j:beer:
just like to thank martin lewis cheers...0 -

Hi all
A while back I stuck a post on here or somewhere querying if anyone had sucessfully claimed back overdraft ppi from Barclays. Result!
Barclays have refunded me charges that equate to £1200 from the past six years. They wouldn't admit liability but who cares as they have refunded me.
I do have a dilemma here though. I don't wish to seem greedy, but they did not refunded any interest charges. Do I go after them for this? They have siad that they won't enter any further correspondence so I would have to go to the FOS and at the same time I don't want to jepordise my loan ppi claim I have with them. If the interest is 8% it may be worth leaving, but any thought?
Cheers

Hi Putty
I think if its an offer then the 8% interest is not always offered, unlike if they accepted liability.
No harm in asking though if you want to just in case, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
