    Your welcome.;)

Good for you, keep at them.

Was it First plus that sold you the loan, or a broker, if a broker was used then write to them, otherwise yes Firstplus if they sold this to you.
Good luck with both reclaims then and please keep us posted.

If you have credit cards, also check them for PPI as well, this also includes, store cards and catalogues, car finance etc.
Not everyone are aware until they check they statements, if this is the case you can also try reclaiming on them as well.

    Hope this helps.;)

What year did you take out this loan?

Depending when you taken the loan out (year), not sure if they were protected as from Jan 2005 or earlier with GISC now, but I'm sure someone will confirm.
But what many do if this is the case now is write to the actual insurer instead who would be to what I know of automatically governed, you do the same on the reclaiming procedures, the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) should be able to investigate against an insurer.

Some of us are in the same position as you, although different loan companies, and the FOS are waiting to pass mine on to an adjudicator right now.

So see what FP come back with first and take it from there, best to exhaust these avenues first.;)
