Still waiting about my PPI claim which is currently with an adjudicator, It's been with the adjudicator for 6 weeks now. I emailed him asking for an update, waited a couple of days but didnt get a response so I phoned him today. He said he hadn't replied to my email because he wanted to wait until there was some positive news for me. How does anyone take that to mean? Not sure if it sounds good or bad!
Good luck and let us know when you hear.;)0 -

I have 2 Egg claims that were with an Adjudicator at the FOS for about 8 weeks then I received a letter saying that both claims were waiting for an Adjudicator. I e-mailed her and she did respond very promptly explaining that my claims have to wait for an adjudicator in another department as Egg only made an offer on one and as the one was refinanced they have to deal with both together.
Just a bit annoying that there was no explanation, just the 2 letters saying I am in yet another queue.
Good luck, hope your wait isn't too long!!0 -

Hi and welcome
Yes there is no harm in doing this by email, but when you can send a written hard copy through the post, tell them there is also a hard copy on the way.
Ask that they confirrm by email they received it.;)
Good luck, please keep us updated on the progress of your reclaim, cheers. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
After 12 weeks and just one letter, Natwest refuse to admit that I was mis-sold PPI but they are returning all premiums paid plus interest - a total of £1219!
Very happy. I wouldn't have claimed if it wasn't for this website.:money:0 -
Well good news for me today, had a letter dated 17th Dec from Halifax saying they would repay any PPI payment i had made...6 years into a 7 year loan....plus interest, was getting impatient today so called them up, in total PPI, interest and 8% statutory interest totalled £3904.74....they said they will pay off my loan and pay the rest just over £1500 into my Halifax account and a letter had been sent to me today confirming this.....so grateful to Martin for his template letters in making this possible, now just waiting for Natwest and GE Capital.......ADOPT DONT SHOP......🐕🐕🐕🐕0

Hi guys!
I am getting soooooo impatient now. I posted on here yesterday just to ask what people thought about the response from my FOS adjudicator.
Thanks Malshalka for the reply, I'm really hoping that it sunds positive rather than negative!
The only thing is that I was under the impression that the adjudicator should keep you updated at all stages i.e. tell you exactly what is going on. I have literally heard nothing since the case was taken up by an adjudicator. Then when I phone for an update he said that he as waiting until there was some more positive news for me.
Does this sound like the adjudicator has made some kind of recommendation to Central Capital? Does anyone have any similar experiences to share?

Hi Koala
I think this is what they mean by they are still waiting to hear from the business with hpefully a positive outcome, so where the adjudicator is possibly upholding your case, it could be a matter of them now waiting to see if the other party also agree to the adjudicators decision, this is what I assume anyway.
I know its frustrating not having more of a detailed response, but with a bit of luck there is good news at the end of this.
I do also recall on receiving something along these lines when asking for updates and so far they have all been successful with the FOS.;)
Hope this helps, good luck and please keep us posted on your progress, cheers.
