  • One letter, even after seeing my copy application where I had ticked the box to say I wanted ppi, they said they would take my account back to where I would have been. This meant,
    Total ppi £380
add 19.9% apr going back 6 years (the amount of interest my card charged)
plus 8% what the court would have added
    total £846

said it before, will carry on saying it, thanks to all at mse for the inspiration

What date was your loan and who with? I know your complaint is against Freedom but just wondered the date that your PPI was added?

I won, I won, I won..... BUT not the interest element of the PPI in my rebate complaint but still a nice amount that will help with Christmas nicely...:D

FOS have not had to adjudicate as i have been in contact with Lloyds of London who have agreed I was unfairly rebated on the PPI and they have paid back for the unsued months and the 8% statutory interest and cause they offered me a totally wrong amount (which would have been nice!!!) and then withdrew it also by the end of the day I was given £250 for stress. I did not even have to ask for that one.;)

Just spoke to FOS this morning (the manager who deal with all complaints like mine against underwriters) and he said that all complaints where you have been unfairly rebated are within jurisdiction (if you can prove your rebate was unfair) BUT they only rebate your actual PPI and not the associated interest. I also asked about misselling complaints against insurers/underwriters and he said that as yet they had not had any cases whereby the underwriter had actually taken responsibility for them but they are still trying. I am just glad that all my reclaiming is finally done and dusted.

Thanks for anyone that egged me on... I would never give up and perseverance has paid off in the end.:beer::beer::beer:

Just rang them to accept their offer and could not resist to ask for a nice Christmas hamper and also a bottle of bubbly..... he just laughed....lol I wonder....................now I am dreaming....
