whilst trying to sort out my new partners debt problems we sent off the first of your template letters to abbey to try and reclaim ppi for an unsecured loan for 15,000 he had taken out in 2005.within 10 days we received an offer from abbey for over £3,500 as reclaim for all the insurance part of the repayments made which included interest, and his ppi was cancelled for the rest of the term of the loan. overall it will save him a total of £8,000. he is delighted and bought me a new pair of shoes for my help. thank you martin somuch:beer:

  • I kind of didnt win nor lose!!
I have 4 complaints, 2 with lloyds have been acepted but I will update here when I have the money in my bank :)

But MBNA said because I did the application online and they sent all details of PPI and how to cancel blah blah blah, that they can only offer a good will guesture.

Ok its not what I expected but for the price of 1 stamp they offered me £100 knocked off my current balance on credit card.

I did accept as it wasnt much more I would of got to be honest anyways if I went the whole hog to complain.
It took from the 16th of Oct when I sent 1st letter out to today when she has just credited my account with the £100.

    Hi all,

I think this has to be the best site I have found! I am claiming back PPI for the following:

Egg CC PPI - £800 paid against my balance after 1 letter (10 days ago)!!:j
MBNA CC PPI - Sold insurance even though self employed! - Awaiting reply
Endeavour PF PPI - Single premium policy claim - Awaiting reply
A&L Loan PPI - Awaiting reply
BoS One Card PPI - Awaiting reply

I have another query - we changed mortages about 4 years ago from BoS to Clydesdale Bank and they never cancelled my wife's TMP policy (they cancelled mine automatically). I recently noticed that I have been paying £20.65 p.m. for the last 4 years for protection on a mortgage we didn't have - can I claim this back + interest?

Tried to phone BoS today but they won't speak unless my wife gives permission.

Martin - you and your team are stars!

    Cheers:beer:,

    **UPDATE**

Just received a letter from Alliance & Leicester offering me £789.11 for two years PPI + Interest - fantastic plus my monthly repayments are reduced by £35! Hopefully have the cheque in time for Christmas.:beer:

Again, many thanks to the MSE team and the advice given from those that offer encouragement and support.:T:T

I'll update again when I hear from MBNA, Morgan Stanley (Barclaycard), BoS One Card & Eneavour.

    Kind Regards,

    Dunkydo
