Well done on your wins.

As regards the one where they have short changed you, did you have to accept anything in writing? If not and they just credited then you could always get a complaint in at FOS if they do not give the whole lot back. I hope it does not have to go that far though and you get it back without the need.

    Good luck

Wrote back to MBNA 24/09/09 re: CC charges. Got a letter Saturday 24th October from MBNA agreeing to credit 1,000 pounds to her a/c which she is glad to accept. Total amount refunded including PPI = 1,847 pounds.

Only wished Cap One could reply as quick.
  • I recently reclaimed about £1400 from Northern Rock for PPI mis-sold to me on loans of about £15000 going back about 5 years. I sent off the template letter requesting my money back. I got a reply asking me to fill in a form with all the details of the PPI but as I didn't have the details I sent back the 2nd template letter stating that Northern Roack by law must keep records of the information and so must provide that information to me. Within 2 weeks I had another letter from NR syaing they agreed my PPI had been mis-sold to me and agreed to refund me the premiums plus 8% (totalling £1400+).
