    Hi Leondp

Yes ring the FOS about the BH case and ask if your able to submit to them, and explain why.
You could see what tomorrow's post will bring and if you hear nothing from EGG then yes go to the FOS on that as well.

Going back to your statements etc, remember to check any statements you have from the bank to retrieve your paperwork, this way if you have the account number, they have no excuses on this.

Of course you can always contact the Information Commissioners office (ICO) on this matter, in regards of your paperwork and see what they advise.
    https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx
See what they suggest, or another way to retrieve your account number is to request for a Credit report, some enclose them, think they are about £2, from organisations such as Equifax or Experian etc, if you google them in you will find these.;)

Experian have a free 30 day trial at the moment so apply onine if you can and then cancel it.... all the info you need. I did the same :D

    What were you reclaiming: Loan
    Who was the provider: Cahoot
How much did you get back: £7200
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: One template letter

Third success in a row for me, got a letter from Abbey this morning agreeing I was missold PPI on a loan I took out in 2003, have agreed to refund all premiums + 8% interest - total £7200. Very straightforward and sorted within 4 weeks - can't believe it. That's three successes in the last two weeks, totalling over 12k - I can only reiterate that you MUST do this is if you suspect mis-selling, it is so straightforward and you hve nothing to lose!!

Hi, i have tried to claim against loans.co.uk through the fos but have just recieved a letter saying 'they were not regulated when i took it out in 2004 so may not be able to help. Do you mind me asking when you took yours out?
    Thank you

    Hi Corinne,

Sorry not to have answered sooner, haven't been on here for a while. I took my loan out in 2005 and paid it off in 2006 when I sold my house. I'm sorry the FOS can't help you but I'm sure by now someone on here has probably suggested something else. They're fantastically helpful.

    Good luck.

Loans.co.uk - STILL WAITING!! My claim has been successful but Loans.co.uk have exceeded their time limit of 8 weeks to send my cheque. Their time was up on 9th September so I contacted the FOS who have been chasing it up. Apparently, Loans.co.uk sent a cheque (for £3,908.14) on the 25th September but to date it still hasn't arrived. I've phoned the FOS almost every day since (bearing in mind there's been a postal strike I did give them a bit of leeway!) When it hadn't arrived by yesterday I phoned the FOS and the lovely man whose been dealing with my case said he'd get the cheque cancelled and get Loans.co.uk to re-issue it. In the meantime - I'M STILL WAITING!!!! Just hoping the postmen don't go on strike again yet!!

Hope everyone on here is doing okay.
