If you are in the forces then you would get paid regardless so if this the same at the time of taking the loan out then I would send them a misselling letter to reclaim.

Take a look at the link here and there is a template letter on it but its always best to do your own letter using the template as a guide and with your own reasons.

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

You then send it to whoever actually sold you the insurance and give them 8 weeks for a full and final response. If they do not uphold you should then be able to take this to the FOS for them to look into although I would think you would not have to as you have a good case.

Send any correspondence recorded delivery as you then have a proof if things do need to go further.

    Good luck

I posted the letters to caplital one and Beneficial finance that it was not sold in my best interests and that the salesperson of beneficial finance told me that i would need it to get authorised for the loan - which i now know is a load off Poo!. I hope it works, Im thinking it should.... the dodgy !!!!!!s. Was a bit concerned that my capital 1 card is slightly over the limit and that i applied for that online in 2005. I dont remember seeing anything with PPI on it though. I think they prey on the fact that there are times that we just need the money!... What do you reckon?

They cannot do anything retaliatory about your card being over anyway so just wait for their response.

    Good luck.

just had a phonecall with MBNA for our virgin credit card reclaim of PPI

WE WON in total about £1200 wooop wooop this will be paid off our balance and that suits us fine.

We allready won £2100 in august off our egg cc card our balances have drastically reduced and so have our monthly payments, we just have RBS loans to claim now that a currently with the fos.

    Thank you to everyone
