The only probs we have here is that they were Hamilton if you remember, as the FOS did write to them where Hamilton then would not take the responsibility on this, then mentioned the lender again, did post about it on here a long time ago, but now I think Hamilton are Norwich union.

Funny you should say that, had 2 letters off the FO to say exactly the same today as well, only waited two months since i sent off the forms to FO, so it looks like the waiting time is coming down a bit , just looking forward to seeing how much is offered.:beer:

Just a quick question tho, it states on the letter off the FO that is i want i can have this refund offset against the remaining loan amount, if so to let them know and they will arrange it for me, but i will be pointring out on the form that i got to send back to the FO that i require the monies refunded to myyself in cheque form rather than that route, do you think that is acceptable?

One letter to HSBC for mis-sale of PPI on loan that had just finished.

Two letters from HSBC advising me that they were looking into my case.

9 weeks from the originally letter and I have an offer of £4k which is all the PPI and 8% interest too!

So happy thank you everyone on this website and especially to Martin.

Just keeping my fingers crossed for my bank charges now!

No Arrears at all, so looking forward to receiving my money back, will update when the letter arrives from Black Horse
