But if it was to cover you then you would have had to have signed it also if it was a joint PPI policy. Your wife could not sign for you too??

Just had a letter from EGG to say they have settled one more of my accounts after just one template letter !! 1st letter sent 7th Sept 09 and then a letter today 28th Sept 09 to say there will be a cheque of £576.15 on its way to me in 7 days !! That is now £5032.58 from Egg in 3 months:jfor 3 different accounts. I still have 2 more left with them so fingers crossed for more of my money back. Cheers guys finially my debt is getting smaller as opposed to bigger!!!!!

Well when i called them the only problem was my length of service so I would have been covered. I am also a card holder so maybe you are right I should have signed for it also saying I agreed to the terms and conditions.

It would be Freedom Finance then, if they arranged and sold you the finance, good luck.;)

I Wrote to First Direct about PPI for a personal loan. I got a letter back a few days later saying they were looking into it. A week later I got a letter offering me the value £528.02 plus £164.48 interest, accepting no liability. EASY. Only thing left to do is to say is a big thank you to Martin and the MSE team and go after alliance and Leicester for an older loan. Thanks Martin.

Hi sorry to be a pain but am abit confused do i write to freedom even though it was not them who paid out the money to me, or do i go straight to the companies that i recieved the money from. Just want to make sure that im sending letter to correct place. It was freedom that arranged the loans for us both times with the companies but the money came directly from the companies not freedom. sorry if im sounding abit confusing x x

You send your complaint to the ones that SOLD the loan and PPI to you being Freedom Finance.;)

PS, you are not being a pain. It is confusing and please ask if there is anything else we can help with.
