    Hi everyone, i'm after a bit of advise if you don't mind.

    Back in July I sent a few letters to various agencies regarding PPI, well I got responses from all of them stating they were not upholding any of them. This depressed me and I put them in a drawer. Well yesterday, my OH got a letter back from HSBC stating they are refunding all his PPI and interest (after I badgered him to sign the letter which I had to write), so today I decided to get all my response letter out of the drawer.

    They were sent to the following;
    1) Redcats (Empire Stores) - havent traded with these since around 04
    2) Freemans - havent traded with these since around 04
    3) GE Money (Anglian Windows) - they state they are not responsible, should be Anglian Windows I contact
    3) Ford Credit - Ford Dealer Busseys - they state they are not responsible, should be Busseys I contact.

    Do I now contact them again or do I just go straight to the Financial Ombudsman?

    Apologies for the long post but I just need advise. :o

    Not too sure how successful you will be with Redcats and Freemans as they werent regulated before 2005. GE Money, write to Anglian windows and if no luck then the FOS and Ford Credit write to Busseys and if no success the FOS.

  • Hello everyone,

    I wanted to say a huge big thanks to the fab advice on here which has been given to me, especially Di:-))))0 Last week I received notification from Lloyds TSB that they are refunding me just short of £6,000:beer::j. I first sent off my letters at the begining of the year to be turned down by Lloyds on both occassions. I then completed my form to send off to the FOS. About 6 weeks ago the very nice people there wrote to me and said that Lloyds would have to refund my money back (I had, in the past 3 x loans with those one-off insurance premiums added to each loan). To say I am over the moon is an understatement.

    I honestly never thought I would get anything back as I never usually have any good luck with regards to money!!!! LOL

    I just wish that everyone could get their money back as lets face it - everyone SHOULD get their money back.

    Good luck everyone and once again a big huge thanks to MARTIN LEWIS for plugging away at this and to the guys and gals on this forum for helping people like me.
