    Hi Di, Marshallka and everyone else who helped us.

    At long last capital one have offered us a full refund plus interest totalling just over £7000.00 (YES!!!!)

    This has taken from October last year and after refusing an offer of £4500 six weeks ago the letter came this morning.

    Obviously we are dead chuffed but could not (or would not) have carried on with the claim without the invaluable help of this site especially Di and Marshallka.

    Thanks to everyone and good luck with your claims.

    DO NOT GIVE UP

    Kazc, Wow, fantastic, we are very happy for you.:T:T:T:T:T:T
    Congratulations :beer::beer::beer:

    Loved footie for years, not bad being a girlie and one in her 40's!!;)

    PPI reclaiming + HFC bank - The Financial Ombudsman Service helped me with a claim I had for the miss selling of PPI against the HFC bank. The bank agreed to settle my complaint and repay me. It has now been nearly 7 months since they agreed to repay me but i have not received any payment or had any contact from the bank. I have been in touch with the FOS about this but they just say they will chase this up for me.
    Does anybody know if the banks have a time limit to repay my claim or has anybody else been in a similar situation as me?

    ALL HELP WELCOMED!!!!!!!!

    Hi Sam....;)

    As amersall says, yes you can if you were mis sold the PPI for any reason, I would go for it.

    It will also help if successful to bring down any debt, also being mis sold have not helped, because you were obviously out of pocket due to this happening, and only reclaiming what is rightfully yours.

    For more information check Martin's useful link below, you will find a checklist of mis selling reasons
    Template letters etc.
    If you require help after checking this through, please do post up to ask, your most welcome.
