    Hello everyone,

Sent Letter June 2009 complaining I was mis-sold as it was a condition of getting the Loan that we had to take the PPI out. July 09 confirmed in writing they would uphold my complaint and send me a cheque refunding me, inclusive of Interest :j

Arrived back from holiday last night, logged on to check our bank account online this morning and £1250 was credited from Black Horse into our account yesterday! :T The full amount plus interest.

Thanks to everyone on this Forum and to Martins template letter - you are brilliant!:rotfl:
    :T:T:T ab fab, well done:T:T:T:money:

Just to let everyone know that i have successfully reclaimed PPI from MBNA using the templates here. Got £400 plus £100 compensation. Dont ever back down as MBNA were really difficult and unhelpful. Took it to ombudsman and won....Thanks Martin and team. really appreciated.

Hi there hun, as you know they have 8 weeks in full to respond, the next letter you may recieve is that they need extra time, then when you receive the final decision this is obviously the outcome of your complaint, which should also include details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS), you can take your complaint to these free of charge if your not happy with the outcome of your complaint.

Hope this helps, please keep us posted.;)

  • Hello everyone, i've been stalking this forum for a few months now and taking in all the advice! Thanks to everyone on here and especially Martin, I have been told that Lloyds TSB will be refunding the PPI on all of my previous 4 loans. I have waited the 12 weeks for them to calculate everything they owe me, however they keep fobbing me off. Apparently, because there are multiple loans involved, they have had to build a new calculator and it is still waiting to be signed off. Has anyone else had this? Surely I can't be the first person that Lloyds have paid out with multiple loans?

    First of all Congratulations.

I know they have many of refunds to deal with but that is long enough, just a thought but maybe ring the FOS, even though you have not been dealing with these, ask them what they think your best option would be in your case, as they have had 3 months to sort this out for you, to contact the FOS here:
