Hi All following sound advice from Di3004 I sent off my complaint for ppi to LTSB. After I few inefficiencies and incorrect information in the last 3 weeks: stating that they had received information, and following an inefficient call today, the senior advisor said that she is going to look at my complaint today with someone else. Fingers crossed for a positive resolution!!

    Hi Janey

Good luck with this hunni and look forward to hearing the outcome.
    Fingers crossed. X;)

  • Well I havent had any news for a few wks until now hence the reason for my absence but its good to see lots of successes.

Well my news.....well I hadnt heard from the FOS re Black Horse so I phoned them and they advised they are currently waiting on an adjudicator and once this happens they will be in touch.... next one Welcome.....received a letter from the FOS saying they have sent my acceptance to WF and they will be in contact with me directly.....lastly First Plus/Loans.co.uk whatever they want to call themselves..... well I think I said on here just before end of July they had sent a letter to me saying they were not admitting the policy was mis-sold however, they were willing to refund as a goodwill gesture....I received a letter today re the first loan I had as it was for £2989.50 plus the interest paid on premium to date was £191.55 minus the rebate I received when the policy was cancelled £877.93 total amount repaid - £2,303.12?

What I am not sure of is where is the loan I currently have? Do I send this all to the FOS and try and get more or do I accept this first one and sent the 2nd and current one to the FOS as that is over £10k and have paid it for 3 yrs and 1 month lol.

Am not quite sure what to do whether to not sign the agreement and send it all to the fos or to sign that one and take up the other one with the FOS? Help!:confused:

And then write your brief reclaim tale. I took out a loan in year 2000 and was missold the PPI. Didn't even know it was missold until I read it on this website when I was looking for a template to claim my bank charges in 2007. A big thank you to Martin and God bless. Many thanks to all you guys who put their testimonies on here, they encouraged me to persue this claim. "

Can I just ask how long it has taken for Lloyds to pay you, I was told in April via the Ombudsman that Lloyds had accepted my claim and that they needed 12 weeks to sort the payment out. That 12 weeks ended 2 weeks ago, I rang Lloyds and they told me that they had a backlog and hoped to sort it out by the end of the month, I also reported this to the Ombudsman and they just suggested that I wait until the end of August. It is just so frustrating because like everyone else, I am still making the monthly payments towards a loan which in reality should be clear by now.

Also, how much was your loan for? I have a concession of four loans that were used to pay the previous one off etc. until I got to the final one of £15,000.00

    Thanks

Thanks I have just called them and as they already have the reference (I sent the complaint originally to the FOS first beofre I knew about this site!) they have said to send all the paperwork back to them plus their final response and they will deal with it for me.

She said they havent given me the whole amount all they have done is make a goodwill gesture and she said is there an option that says if I am not happy with the outcome I have the option to send to them which i said there was. She said she would make a note on my file I am returning all the paperwork.

Phew another thing done and to tick off lol.

At this rate I hope to get at least one of them before xmas lol:rotfl::p

Not a success as such for myself, but for a friend. Wrote one letter to Egg and they reduced his balance by £5200 and monthly repayments from £250 to £86.

Needless to say, he is one happy chappy and would like to thank you all, for helping me, help him.

    You guys are great <3
