Hi all

So, i still seem to be at war with Barclays bank. They are due to give me a figure by tomorrow and i called to chase today to find out that no-one knows who's dealing with my case, no figures have been worked out, no letters issued! It's taken me 5 days just to get through to a person rather than a voicemail.

Barclays bank are so frustrating. No idea what to do next to be honest other than bang my head against a brick wall!

Hi all,

Just thought I'd let you know of my success with Egg.

I complained after being mis-sold my PPI insurance - the member of staff who sold my loan over the phone didn't explain what it was & how it was suitable.

I received £3,058.74 back which has been put towards my loan balance, effectively halving what I owed!

I used the template letters on this site and received the confirmation letter today - 5 weeks later.

It's definitely worth doing & persevering!

Can anyone tell me if they have had any success eith M&S finance? I have an existing loan with them and have been trying to reclaim my PPI but am not getting very far.

I'm hoping someone has some good news so I can be inspired and start applying more pressure where possible.

Hi Pinky

There have been many who have complaints with M&S Finance, some have been successful, some complaints still ongoing, a mixture really.

May I ask at what stage you are with these?
Did you send off your reclaim letter?
They have 8 weeks in full to respond, but if you let us know an update we may be able to help.;)

ha ha funky::)..it was pretty late for me, normally up at 5 ish...had a bit of a lie in today... normally at work around 06:30 ish.....
