Just wondering if anyone has had any success with Welcome Finance? and is it possible to reclaim PPI mis sold from a mortgage with Southern Pacific Mortgages Lenders?

Just posted on your other thread as well.;)

There have been much success with Welcome, when you have time, check through this thread, there are many with complaints in regards of this company, some still ongoing direct with the company or with the Financial ombudsman service (FOS).

I take it if mis sold any insurance you can try to reclaim on it, good luck.

Thank you Di, feel like this is a mine field and I have no idea. I had a mortgage with SPML and it has been paid off in full have requested copies of all documentation and awaiting response.

I have written my letters off to the following companies:-
*Ulsterbank (RBS)
*Alliance and Leicester
*GE Money (Burtons)
Ulsterbank said that i was not mis-sold and said go to the ombudsman.
GE Money said i was not mis-sold and to go to the ombudsman.
Alliance and Leicester have said they have 'exhausted' their lines of enquiry and said go to the ombudsman.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Any help and advice would be gratefully appreciated.

hi there everyone has had this, so dont worry. go to fos with all of these, enclose the replies you have had, and put in your own words why you think you were mis sold.dont let this daunt you, they are just fobbing you off and hope you go away. you will get all the help you need on this site, good luck and keep us informed

Claimed back my PPI from Northern Rock who I must say were very helpful and first class in dealing with me,
I had two loans out with them and I have received all my PPI I paid to them plus the 8% interest giving me a grand total of £4,980.00 being paid into my bank account.
If it wasnt for this site and help from others in the Northern Rock Misseling PPI Forum, Then I would not be £5,000 better of today and also
I thought about going to a company to claim it back for me however I am glad I had the confidence from this site to go it alone and it paid off.
So once again thanks to all and to Northern Rock for being helpful.

:jjust found out that i can claim back my ppi and bank charges so thats fantastic
i had 3 loans with mis sold ppi with lloyds tsb,and also 1 with rbos and 1 with welcome finance,
I hav downloaded the letter templates and going 2 send them off this week to
every one of these money grabbing gits,especially welcome finance,
so hope all goes wel and hopefully get sumwhere with my ppi refunded,wil let u know how i get on,wish me luck.:j
my bank charges with lloyds in the past 6 yrs total 3800 before interest 2,and thats just one of them before i even start my ppi

morning campers ....morning di, amersall, pinky & max.......well done to all recent winners.......di, remember i sent my new claim off last week, well i have heard, and they are fighting it...;)..well, maybe time for another stamp to let them see that im serious....got nothing to lose have i, dont ask dont get and all that....its like a game of chess now, and its my move......wow this is fun....i can afford a stamp a week so im just gonna keep having my move....they may even pay out just to shut me up ....i will keep you informed...i will give it another couple of letters to let them know that if its easier for them, i will go to the F.O.S.......win or lose, im enjoying taking part in this game

May i ask who your bank charges are with, I wrote to HSBC ages ago about charges and it was put on hold!!
