    Success:rotfl:
    What: PPI for a loan
    Provider: A & L
    Amount: £313
A&L sent me a letter saying they may have missold me my PPI, I agreed and layed out my reasons why.
After about 14 weeks and a couple of letters from them they've finally sent me a settlement for a full refund including interest until June 30th 2009.

Thanks for the advice and information on this forum.
  • What I was Claimiing: Credit Card PPI
Who was the provider?: The Royal Bank of Scotland
How much did I get: £996.82

After reading Martin's PPI reclaim article I thought I would give it a go and I sent a letter off the RBS and following their review I've received an offer for £996.82, not bad for 5 minutes work.

Now I'm going to try and reclaim my credit card charges from them.

    Hi KT

Oh joy, just when i thought Barclays couldn't annoy me anymore eh? My loan was settled over a year ago so they won't have any restructuring to do at least.

Still, we will both get there in the end! I was going to try calling them but that sounds like i would be banging my head against a brick wall over and over again!

Thanks everyone for the congrats! Will let you know when i get a figure from them.

    Dawn

Hi Dawn ,sorry didnt want to be the bearer of bad news-maybe yours will be dealt with quicker as there is no restructuring involved.
    Good luck:)

    Hiya,
just got letter offering me a refund of all PPI payments made so far on I loan I got off Alliance and Leicester after using the template letter on this site, a total of £271 (plus cancelled insurance which makes my monthly payments much less), it may not seem like a lot of money but it's a lot to me.

thanks for all the support everyone on here!
