Have been claiming back PPI on Barclaycard. Started about November 2007.

No response from Barclaycard so went to FOS. Fos Upheld claim. Thought I would get back about £4,500 which would be back to the 6 year claim limit.

They have calculated back to 1991 when it was taken out and have paid back just under £9,700.:j:j
    Well done Maxdp

    Hi
Hubby had 2 loans and 1 credit card with them. I got full payment on one loan after 1st letter (just over 3000). Offer on second loan of 750 only (owed around 6000) and offer on credit card 2000 (owed around 4000 - 5000). The last two accounts I am going to next stage with as no joy with RBS.

    Good luck.
    Yearly Grocery Budget - £100.77/ £3500. January Treats Budget - £11.80 / £100.

I had 2 loan refunds although it took RBS quite some time to investigate, once they made their decision I had my refunds in my current account in just under 3 weeks. I sent mine in Sept 08, resolved by RBS end Jan 09, paid in Feb 09.

I have just done one for my husband's RBS loan and he has also had a refund, only took 3 weeks and he sent the acceptance letter back today. He had 2 previous settled loans but there was no mention of those so we have chased those up.

We had PPI on a joint loan which they offered a goodwill gesture of £750 but we have sent this one to the FOS.

Hi , posted several days ago and had several helpful replies and wondered if anyone can give me some more advice. Shortened story is that hubby and I paid off large loan two years ago after having it for approx 2 years and approx PPi was £16,000. Loan was brokered by Freedom Finance and monies paid By GE Money. Freedom , after first template letter replied saying that we had not been mis-sold and had phone tapes to prove it but as goodwill gesture would give us £1000 on understanding that we did not pursue them for any more monies. They also told us in the letter that they had been in contact with GE and that we might be owed approx £3600 by GE. Previous letter was replied by GE that they basically owed us nothing and this was final response and we could go to FOS if we wished. We are not exactly sure who to contine pursuing for this as each company seems to be saying that it is the other who owe us. Any help much appreciated.

    Hi there

I would contact the FOS on this one if I were you.

You don't want to be running in circles, especially as you were previously informed that GE would not uphold your complaint and now FP have told you this.

The FOS may suggest what you should do from here, good luck and please keep us posted, cheers.;)

Hi hope you all ok, just a quick question, have many people had just small wins? I want my £30 back from Barclaycard, do you think they will laugh at this ammount? Every penny counts I say- after my £50 phone going missing on the way to money4urmobile that £30 could come in handy!!
